The One Night band are such an amazing band who have the most incredible energy. The were so good and so much fun. All of our guests have said how great they were and how much of a blast they had partying! Honestly, how do I even begin to describe this band and its members? If you’re hesitating in anyway to bring this group on board for your special event, don’t. Contact me anytime for more details. It will be the best element you brought to your party, other than maybe your bride or groom. This is a class act. We found them online while planning for our wedding in Scotland, and Laura was really responsive helping us plan out just how we wanted the evening to flow. They helped us formulate the perfect collection of songs, and even learned the song we had picked for our first dance. Incredible performance, high energy, empowering stage presence, and slick moves. We hired them sight unseen, and they really brought it! The variety of music, Laura’s amazing vocal range, Max killing it on guitar, thumping bass and drums, choregraphed and impromptu dance moves, and discoteque lighting. You get it all. Literally, the first song started playing, and everyone from the party was on the floor dancing, young and old. And we had a tough crowd. By the end, people were wearing ties on their heads and had stripped out of their wedding garb just to keep their dance moves going for the duration. They call themselves the One Night Band, because you’ll never forget that night, and you’ll be talking about it for the rest of your life. Thank you, One Night Band! The One Night Band were absolutely superb. Their energy on stage was just brilliant- we were lifted into the air on their instruction, we did the conga around the barn and did not leave the dance floor! They learnt our first song and that is something I will never forgot. The range of songs they have in their repertoire will suit all tastes and they were just so accommodating in the lead up to our wedding. The one night band are a fantastic talented and vibrant group who performed at our weeding. They learnt our first dance which was performed beautifully, Laura's voice was outstanding. The mix of songs were brilliant and got everyone up dancing, lots of our guests mentioned how much they'd enjoyed our band. Looking back, we feel extremely lucky to have discovered Laura and The One Night Band! The music for our wedding was one of the things which was high on the list and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the performance from the band. The One Night Band were absolutely fantastic at our wedding, they guided us through the process, helped us curate a song list, sent us a recording of them practicing our first dance song, and on the day they performed beautifully. They are very talented in their playing and singing creating a well rounded and professional level music. Laura has a really strong voice. They also sorted out the sound setup and dealt seamlessly with the fact that our wedding day was running about an hour behind schedule (by playing two longer sets instead of three 45 min ones). We were also very impressed at the atmosphere they created by getting the crowd involved, coming out onto the dancefloor, wandering around to get guests up and dancing. When people talk to us about our wedding, now over 18 months ago, they rarely start by praising the flowers or the dress or the food. Almost without exception the first thing people remember and want to talk about is the band. From beginning to end Laura and The One Night Band had everybody singing and dancing, choosing a set list which had a mix of styles and genres and something for everybody. One word for The One Night Band.....AWESOME! These guys travelled a long way to our blessing back in 2014. Laura was lovely and helpful from the start with song choices and playlist for the DJ set afterwards. They were so much fun on the night and literally had our guests up and dancing all night long. Even to this day, we have comments about how great our band was at our blessing. They were definitely worth the find and we had the pleasure of seeing them at our friends wedding a few weeks ago. Having attending several functions where the One Night Band were playing I had no hesitation in booking them for my 50th Birthday Ball in January 2016 Laura worked with me to draw up a play list for the night, which satisfied both the latin and ballroom dancers and also those who just wanted to get up and bop. Fantastic band - we had everyone on the dance floor from beginning to end. We found them online and hired the 5-piece band for two 45-minute sets with a DJ set in between. They were super responsive, and open to all our suggestions for the playlist. All the songs we wanted were played on the night and our first song, Brown-Eyed Girl, was so beautifully done! We had just returned from our wedding in India where there had been 5 nights of hardcore dancing, yet they managed to keep the entire party on the dancefloor for the whole evening. There was no 'I love the dress' or 'the food was great'.....just 'What were your band called they were incredible' We actually saw One night band play at our friends wedding and they sung our first dance song in their set and were literally SOLD! (Laura's voice is insane!) We had a bass player conga line, a guitarist on one of the rugby team players shoulders playing a solo, and a twerk off with the groom and lead singer to Beyoncé and the drummer was standing on his stall spinning round whilst playing teenage dirt bag....� Such a fun, interactive, professional and entertaining band! We booked these guys to perform at our English/Indian fusion wedding. They smashed it! Playing a broad range of old and contemporary music which appealed to everyone. They are mesmeric to watch with each band member giving it they're all and connecting with the audience and it's apparent that the band love to perform to a live audience as they engaged perfectly with plenty of energy. What an amazing band. We had the best day ever anyway but you all truly made our evening. Fun, entertaining, the right mix of music and what amazing artists. You played our first song beautifully - thank you. 130 people in the evening and at some points I think everyone was on the dance floor - a priceless memory for us to treasure.
