Stayed here with 3 colleagues whilst working in Taunton |What a great find,we found the hotel by chance and what a nice surprise. |The rooms are at the back of the pub and are great outbuildings and are really well presented.|They have double beds showers and TVs |They are well decorated and kept to a very high standard.|There’s is plenty of car parking spaces and also a strong WiFi signal throughout |They also provide a full or continental breakfast which is also spot on.|The staff are great and very accommodating |All in all a great place to stay|10/10 More...

Me and my wife only had a few days at the old stagecraft unfortunately but enjoyed every minute. Lorraine and her team were so friendly and helpful and always had time to chat. The food was at the highest standard and could not be faulted as was the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The bar holds a comprehensive range of drinks and was lively and cheerful reminiscent of the way a pub should be but with areas where you can sit to relax if you so wish. Great. Stayed overnight as attended a wedding a couple of miles away. The rooms are in a courtyard at the back of the pub and are very clean and the bed was really comfortable, so I had an excellent night's sleep. The pub is dog-friendly and two boxers were roaming the courtyard, but as they were friendly and I don't mind dogs, I wasn't bothered. My friend and I stayed at The Old Stagecoach Inn for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us an early check in. They even booked us a taxi for us to get to the venue when we were running late due to the bank holiday traffic. Generally had a good night sleep, the light up green fire exit sign was extremely bright but I know this is required by law and Im just a light sleeper. We had our window open and we could hear kitchen and hotel staff in the morning at 7.30 am talking outside. We had a pleasant breakfast with choice and variety but would preferred a bigger time window as breakfast was only being served from 8.30-9.30. Despite this I would happily book again at this hotel. We stayed overnight for a short break away. As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home and were made to feel very welcome. My kids are really scared of dogs so the owners shut them out until we got used to them and by the end of the day the kids were best friends with the dogs, so very special mention to Derek and Bubbles the Boxers. Dinner and breakfast was really nice and room really nice and reasonably priced, the only very small downside was that we couldn't get any channels on the TV but for one night, who cares. More...

Arrived late, met by welcoming staff. Was planning on staying in the bar for a drink but that was closed at 9pm, but were sold drinks to take to our room. Rooms are basic, clean and just what you need for a nights sleep. Breakfast was great, very accommodating for vegetarian and vegan requests. This is a great place to have a drink, eat and stay in. The best thing is the warm welcome and the social atmosphere in the bar. The operators of the bar and the hotel side are all really great people. You will always get a friendly chat in the bar if you pop in. Very close to the train station also. I will be staying again. Lovely Sunday afternoon birthday tea for my husband. Food was delicious and very well presented. Big thank you for the gluten free options for one member of our party. The lady said it was extremely good options - which she doesn't always get at other locations.
