We had fun. The drinks were good, so as the barcade. The bartenders knows how to make great drinks that we enjoy. The prices were reasonable and the place have a good surround noise level.

Free bowling, games and the ability to ride the worlds largest penis all in one place.  Who could have asked for more!?  Cool place with many TVs for the video games they have, a really great place near Fremont Street to hang out after hours with friends.  With the bowling, don't expect too much, because it's free, the balls are already set up and there are no bowling shoes - don't bowl in your socks unless you want to fall on your face. The Nerd at Fremont Street Experience is a super cool place to hang out, chill, have a drink, and avoid all the drama of The Strip. Right off the bat... yes, this bar is not the most stylish, or high-end, or glamorous bar you will find in Las Vegas.  They aren't trying to be either.  It's a cool spot to come and hang out with cool people and cool drinks, play video games, go bowling, or sit back and watch people try to ride the mechanical penis (... which is a riot of a good time for both females and males!)  There is plenty of movie, comics, and wrestling memorabilia to check out as well.  There is no cover and drinks are priced right.  Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a cool chill spot with no cover and no dress code and good drinks! I like this place and feel like I am one of the only ones. Please tell me what is wrong with free bowling (no matter how many lanes are open), free games and free entry. It is nice to have a place in Vegas that doesn't nickle and dime you. A few Halloweens ago I went there and they had costume contests, tarot card readers and games. I continue to support this place and enjoy hanging out there. Also the dancing area is awesome since it is a UFC cage. More...

Barcades are popping up everywhere. It seems when one closes, there's another one taking its place. This is the case with The Nerd, which is in the middle of Fremont Street. It's not bad for being in the middle of a busy area. Most games here are free. I came with a couple friends and they didn't think it was that bad. One is a big fan of these barcades. We had fun for about an hour. An annoying thing is just getting here because it's a little difficult to find. This is upstairs at the northwest corner of Fremont and Vegas. Overall it's not a bad barcade. A lot of games are free as long as you buy a drink. The bowling is more fun than the arcade games. More...

I kinda lost my sh*t when I saw Michael Meyer's.  - don't judge I love horrorCurrent music playing and just overall a great vibe. The drinks were probably the most reasonable out of my shenanigans for the night. Plenty of seating either at the bar, or several booth lounge seating areas. An unexpected trip to Vegas had me scrambling to make a list of cool places to go to. Not wanting to hit the manufactured, overstimulating tourist traps I was directed to The Nerd by a great friends of mine who insisted all of the real Vegas was on Fremont Street. I'm here to publicly say that she was right. This Nerd found The Nerd to be a legit haven for anyone who loves pop culture, movies, comics, video games, great drinks and beer and fun. I was able to meet most of the staff and the owner and they were legit geeks. The amount of screen used props in there is worth the trip alone (Hood from Stuntman Mike's car from Death Proof, Hazmat suit from Breaking Bad, Green Goblin spear from the Tobey Spider-Man) but add in the gaming, bowling, pool and more and it's a must visit everytime. And the staff is usually in awesome cosplay. Can't wait to return. More...

The best thing about this bar is it's a place you can go and be yourself. The Nerd is a "nerd bar" off of Fremont Street. It's a nice change of pace from the 'typical' Vegas clubs and rowdy bar scene . At the Nerd it's cosplay night every night and if you wear a costume you get a $1 discount on your drink. The bartenders dress in different costumes and onesies each night and on the weekends they have themed costumes. The bartenders are all veteran bartenders and if you ask Martha or Jay for a special mixed drink they can make you something worth coming down to Fremont for. The Nerd has free bowling and video games if you buy a drink. Which is cool because you won't find free Bowling anywhere downtown. They also have arcade games so bring your quarters! If you are into Funko pops you can win pops in one of the games and they have a huge variety of pops and Pokémon stuff for sale also. They even have pops that are autographed! The Nerd is different because they always have special edition liquors and beer on tap. Try a Game of Thrones Beer when you go. My favorite mix drink is a "Blue Meth" themed after the tv show Breaking Bad. The Nerd also has tv and movie memorabilia for sale which is super cool to see stuff displayed from your favorite movies and tv shows. It's also a great place to take pics with your friends because of the decor of the bar with cool couches, chairs and even a lifesize Pumpkinhead! On the weekends they have events with celebrity guests. I've met actors I never thought I would meet in real life that are just hanging out at The Nerd Bar. This bar is a safe place for everyone. All nerds and LGBTQ are welcome! More...

They're sexy nerdy girls dressed in cute kigurumis. Martha was our bartender. She was dressed in a Pikachu kigurumi, which was kind of funny at the time since I was catching Pokémon at the bar lol They don't have a kitchen, but they do allow Uber eats to deliver food, or you could walk and bring something back; it's a non issue. They have a lot of unique gifts for purchase, such as autographed funko dolls, retro stuffed animals, vintage t-shirts... I wish I had more room in my suitcase to bring stuff back :( What's interesting about this bar is they host live gaming competitions, autograph signings, and live memorabilia auctions. The only games that you do have to pay for are the arcade games although none of them worked when we tried them. Hopefully they're fixed by now. Their drinks are pretty overpriced but I guess it makes up for the gaming being free. They have specialty drinks that are named after characters, games, etc. The specialty drinks I had from them were really good! When it comes to service, the bartenders are nice but the service is kinda slow. They have comics all over the walls in the men's bathroom which is fun! You buy a drink and all the activities are free. Theyve got bowling, all the console games you can think of, a few classic arcade, and some table top games like jenga. We spent about 2 hours here bowling, playing classic nintendo, and xbox. We probably would have spent more time here if we didnt already have an event to get to. The Nerd is right across the street from the start of the Fremont Street Experience, in the main plaza, on the second floor. Hard to find, but its slightly tucked away location keeps it mostly locals and keeps it easy to get a drink at the bar even on a Friday night. Feeling social? Hop on the dance floor and dance to 90s music videos, K-pop songs and tv show theme songs. Feeling not social...? Sit down at a game console and make some online friends instead. All of the video games, pool tables and bowling lanes are free to use. You can reserve yourself a lane on their website or show up and grab a lane. The Nerd has plenty of places to sit and not feel obligated to stand around the bar to talk to others. All of the activities makes it easy to make friends. I just want to say how INCREDIBLE this place is, hands down. If you need something different from the normal Vegas, look no further! Except...it's kind of hidden in the plaza where the Denny's is (also a score when you get munchies after!) if you can't find, look for the Denny's & head up the escalator to the 2nd floor.First of all, the logo is an octopus with glasses. It's adorable. I went on a week day, no cover then. Could be different fri/sat.Amenities include free bowling, pool tables, board games (like, who has Quelf?! Am I right?! Bring your own Cards Against Humanity though), video games (Smash Brothers, Justice, NES games), there's even a room to have events. I may or may not have suggested my cousin get married there...At the bar they have alcoholic slushy ice creams I kid you not! I got grape, because duh. I also got my husband a mystery Street Fighter action figure for $10 because YES! I will say that I loved it most in the beginning of the night, it's more low key. My cousin & I DOMINATED the dance floor with our Naploean Dynamite dance moves to soundtrack themes (Harry Potter, Nightmare Before Christmas, Sailor Moon Japanese theme song, video game themes like Zelda, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, MK, Mario, you name it), Die Antword, Old Skool, etc. Once it gets super late it's just normal club music (still good DJ, but just not nerdy), I was having fun being a nerd until then haha! The owner of the bar was kind enough to see our dance moves & bring us drinks on the house. That was a very personable & genuine gesture. The bartender made up the recipe on the spot, it was a cool teal drink, so yummy!
