I was in desperate need of PA hire for a primary school Christmas play, as not one but both speakers had gone down the day before the event! I contacted Rodney at the Music Rooms about possibly hiring two tops at extremely short notice. Rodney, and the guys in the shop in Ballymena (Gerry & Nigel) couldn’t have been more helpful! I left with a powered mixer, two 15’’ tops, all the cables.... even lights!! The event was a massive success. Will most definitely be back but with hopefully more time to spare. Got myself a small PA system in the last couple of weeks. Dealt with Rodney. He was fantastic. Made everything really simple and provided a lightening fast efficient service. Have just had our drums tuned after hearing that the Music Rooms offered this service. Rodney did a great job —friendly and professional— and to top it off he was good enough to talk my daughter through the whole process, sharing a bunch of different tricks to make them sound better. I couldn’t recommend the music rooms highly enough, I had contacted Rodney about a specific pa I was after, he was honest with me (which is what I wanted) about what I had asked for, he was very detailed in asking what exactly it would be used for etc, so I went with his recommendation and couldn’t be happier, will definitely contact the music rooms in the future for any other pa needs I may have �, thanks again!

Grat people and great atmosphere! Walk through the front doors of the shop and your greeted by loads of great guitars and instruments. Staff are top of the line, making sure you know what youre looking for and they will get you what you need. I’ve used The Music Rooms in Coleraine for rehearsal space for my band MOjO and it was great. It had everything we needed which meant no set up etc and very convenient. The shop is looking great also!

My five year old son is currently taking guitar lessons at The Music Rooms and he is having great fun. His teacher, Johnny, is a talented guitarist, amongst other instruments, and my son loves his weekly lesson. He actually listens to Johnny and we can see him improving with every week. They teach him to play songs rather than go through grades, which is a big plus for us. To see your five year old attempting and succeeding at playing the start of Knockin on Heavens Door, brings a huge smile to your face! All thanks to the guys at Music Rooms. For any of you not taking lessons, you can always have a good chat with the very knowledgeable staff in the shop. They'll keep you right with any instrument that might take your fancy.
