I would definitely recommend The Moment Photo Studio. I actually did to my friends :) Our pre-wedding photos got tons of compliments! This was definitely our best memory in wedding planning.Cynthia and Lu are both exceptionally nice and professional. They gave a lot of advice before and during the photo shoot. I was from out-of-state and flew in only for the weekend. Everything went so smoothly with their help.Lu was so patient with dress try-ons ( I actually tried more dresses than I did at David's Bridal). She even did a better job with my makeup and hair than the makeup artist for my wedding in my opinion. Lu also helped us a lot with posing and gestures during the photo shoot. Cynthia's photos were just great. We were kind of stiff but she was able to guide us and got great shots. She also communicated with us before retouching the photos. How do I give The moment photo studio more than 5 stars It's hard to express in words how amazing Cynthia & Lu are -- as a person, as a makeup artist & as a photographer. Me and my better half loved them and how passionate they about their work. Highly recommend it.It was time to get some professional head-shots for work and we found Cynthia. She is very detailed, fashion and posture oriented as well as fun and pleasant which is very important when taking your pics. Her home studio is fantastic she has all the necessary prompts to make you look good, never felt rush and actually my girlfriend and i had a lot of fun while taking our pictures. I was nervous looking for an engagement/wedding photographer, because everyone said that the photographer is the most important part of the whole process. Your wedding is a whirlwind and you really don't get to enjoy everything as much as you would like, so having a good photographer is key to making sure that you can look back and see all the great moments. That's where Cynthia steps in!Cynthia is super, super responsive and helpful. If you send her an email, she responds within half an hour (yes, I'm impressed as well!). My husband and I are not the most natural people in front of the camera, but Cynthia directed us through our engagement shoot so that we ended up getting some of my very favorite pictures of me through that shoot.On the wedding day, she showed up exactly on time and made sure to take pictures that I didn't think of, and also was in all sorts of poses trying to take great pics of all of us. Another plus is that her services are SUPER reasonably priced. I had called many other photographers before I chose Cynthia, and they all  charged double or triple what she did. This made me nervous since I was curious why there was such a huge price differential, and if it meant that there was a huge gap in skill levels, but there's not! Cynthia was our photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding reception and we could not be happier with her! Throughout the entire process Cynthia was a great communicator - clear, courteous and responsive. On shoot days she provides insightful and creative direction for shots. You may feel silly doing some of the poses, but rest assured they come out looking great! Cynthia has a keen eye for what looks good on film. During our wedding reception we hardly noticed her there but she was snapping away, capturing hundreds of great moments. Lastly, she is FAST. We had raw photos of our wedding reception for our review less than 1 week after the event. We 100% recommend Cynthia and would use her in the future without hesitation. This is a long overdue review and thank you to Cynthia of the Moment Photo Studio.Four days before I gave birth, I decided I wanted a professional pregnancy/maternity shoot. Cynthia responded promptly with a fair quota and we made an appointment for the next day. Cynthia came to our apartment with all of her equipment to take photos and we also cabbed it to Central Park to take additional photos. Cynthia was pleasant to work with and took the most beautiful photos. She also possessed a good vision of what makes good photography while also listening to what I wanted. There were also some goofball incidents on my behalf (I locked us out of the apartment, had no cab fare to the park because I didn't bring a purse, etc.) and Cynthia was more than patient with me and gracious about the whole thing.=).The photoshoot and results turned out so well that we rehired Cynthia to take photos of our newborn daughter when she was a little over a month old. Cynthia came to our home with all of her equipment and brought little outfits for our baby and dressed her in the outfits/props. Again, beautiful photos of the baby and of the family. We used these photos to make an Introduction card for our baby to send out to our family and friends.Cynthia is wonderful to work with and has a true art and eye for good photography. I hired Cynthia for a outdoor professional headshot, she was punctual and well prepared. She was extreme patient and nice, made the process very easy and smooth, she really took her time to make sure the pictures turn out the best by trying different lighting, backgrounds and positions, I am beyond satisfied with the photos, thank you Cynthia ,you are the best!

My husband and I love these photos so much!! Cynthia is a proficient photographer who can always capture your beautiful features. Lulu can always find the most suitable hair styles for you. The normal shooting time should be about 6 hours, however, due to the bad weather, our shooting time had to be delayed and extended which took almost 9 hours. But Cynthia and Lulu kept working without complain. During the shooting period, Cynthia and Lulu kept checking each photos they took, in order to insure that they can capture the best of us. We took our wedding ceremony pictures with Cynthia and Lu. They were very patiently listening to all our questions and taken care of every detail. We started to prepare my wife's makeup and dressing at 3am, in order to catch the Sunrise. We went three different places to take photos, central park, Washington square Park and Dunbam.
