What a magnificent venue. Magical, quirky and unique setting. Funky interior (with nooks and crannies for break out areas aplenty) matched by the garden with fairytale lights and double decker karaoke bus - a particular highlight! Staff friendly, professional and willing to cater for every individual need. Loved it! More...

Great venue for a wedding if you want something different and quirky. Looks small from the outside but when you go inside it seems much larger. Has several different areas all within easy reach plus outdoor amusements for the kids. The staff are great and very helpful. More...

We had our wedding here on 27th July and loved the whole experience. We were given a tour by Sarah a year previously and were blown away by her lovely personality and honesty that the venue wasn’t for everyone. She really stood out from wedding planners at the other venues we had seen, who we felt had tried to push an off the shelf wedding on us. We paid our deposit the next day and loved the flexible planning process with Sarah. Dessert and cheese table? No problem! Bacon sandwiches at 10pm? No problem at all! Somehow Sarah even made the planning meetings good fun!||I have to admit I was a little nervous about how the day would flow, given the lovely chilled vibe of the venue. But Dora ran a fabulously smooth ship from our allotted 2 hour set up window, right through to serving a delicious breakfast for 40 people the following morning. ||The wedding day itself was so much fun and we had so many comments on how amazing the venue was-the pizzas and karaoke in particular went down really well. We really can’t thank Sarah, Dora and the team enough for an absolute dream of a wedding. If you’re thinking of booking a wedding here, I would wholeheartedly recommend it-in fact I’m already thinking of how we can have another party there! I don’t think you will find another venue who so selflessly help you to plan the day that you want. More...

A quirky, fun place to visit. We camp here every year whilst working in Cambridge during May Ball week and they have always been welcoming and looked after our needs. Two lovely shepherds huts, some other rooms in the building, space for 5 or 6 caravans I reckon, (though I've never seen it that busy), and grassed areas for tents. Basic but clean toilet and shower facilities. Free WiFi and easy access into the city, about 10-15 minutes away. More...

Very eclectic! Went to a private event. Staff were nice. Didn't get opportunity to see the garden which I heard was lovely (and very interesting! ). Asked about accomodation via email and didn't get a clear response on a price or availability. Toilets are very weird!!! More...

We have just got married at the missing sock, the venue is very quirky, we loved it as did all of our guests, we had the best wedding outside, the gardens are lovely, everyone was chilled, we had a very relaxed vibe, the staff are amazing, the food was good, Dora and Sarah made sure that everything ran smoothly, the whole day was amazing, if you are looking for a quirky chilled venue for a wedding i would 100% recommend the missing sock.

We held a birthday party at the venue and had kept details from the guests so they were surprised. When some arrived I think they were a little underwhelmed as from the outside the venue does not give the best impression, but once they stepped through the doors they quickly loved it. This is a unique venue with many different areas, and this allowed our guests to sit in the garden areas, the quiet snook, the bar, the firepit or the karaoke bus, so there was something for everyone. The team were managed by Dora, who was so helpful and positive that it made our event stress free. The team helped us to set everything up and were there if we needed them but magically 'disappeared' if we didn't, which was perfect. ||We had booked various entertainment for our guests ourselves, but the team helped us to set up appropriate areas for the activities. The food was just as ordered and provided on time and without fuss.||The bedrooms are basic but were clean and fully functioning, and it suited us to stay overnight rather than travel to a hotel, and the cooked breakfast was great and used local produce. ||The venue is supported by volunteers and they were all amazing and so helpful.||We, and our guests, had a fabulous time and made many happy memories that will last a lifetime, so thank you for everything. Everything and I mean everything was perfect for me, my wife and our guests. Our friends and family won't stop asking us how we came to find the missing sock, it was just meant to be I guess. I personally wasn't expecting much, just a quirky pub wedding with some food. I was wrong! What makes the missing sock is the staff, they are friendly, outgoing, approachable and so relaxed which helped us to relax and enjoy our day. The food was amazing and plenty of it and the rooms and shepherd huts were comfy and clean. All in all it was the best day of our lives. A big thank you to the guys and girls that helped to make it perfect. More...

That's not laziness, that's the recovery time when they host your wedding. Many venues told us we could not get married on our budget and still have an adventure playground and a karaoke london bus, which was clearly a lie. Thoroughly nice people all round which is just what you want on your special day. We are still married and I am whilst I am not sure the missing sock deserve the credit for that we can't rule out the possibility they helped. Because science. More...

Our daughter and our new son in law held their wedding at the missing sock Cambridge. It is very quirky in a great way, lots of nooks and crannies. Lots of things for kids to do, both inside and outside. The owners are great, they will do their best to accommodate your needs, and they helped to make the wedding special. It was great having the wedding and reception in one place, once you are there just relax and enjoy yourselves. Also good atmosphere, good food, reasonable price. I highly recommend The Missing Sock.
