The venue was perfect for my wedding day. The interior looks magnificent with the style we were going for. Greg was pretty helpful in making sure everything went according to plan, granted my husband and I are very go with the flow. We got married September 23 and had no problems with the venue being too hot, as I’ve seen from another review. I had so many compliments from guests on the venue and I wouldn’t change a thing. The Mercury is sure to become THE spot to have a party in Norman, OK! I love to host parties and events and am so excited about this exciting new venue. We had the pleasure of working with Greg and Brady at The Mercury to plan a donor event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, and it couldn't have been a better experience. They worked with us on every little detail from the menu to the layout, and made sure that our event would be perfectly executed. The space has so much character, with barrel vaulted exposed beam ceiling, brick wall, and charming cafe lights. It was the perfect backdrop to showcase artwork and live music by Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road! The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure that our event was a huge success, and we can't wait to host another event at The Mercury! More...

I can’t give below 5 stars because we did not use the venue but we visited during the Bridal Open House. Unfortunately, for my fiancé and I we will have to use another venue due to space. The space is a little tight indoors but there are two separate spaces inside. One is the main entertainment area and the other is best used for a buffet since it’s a long, wide hallway to the bathroom. I suspect the indoor venue max is 100 people. The outdoor space is massive. I know the venue would work perfectly if we could utilize that outdoor space. Our wedding is on an August afternoon when it will probably be too hot to be outside.

The quoted price for the venue was very affordable, and the available time to use the venue was generous. Greg seemed great. We had minimal interaction with him since we only dropped by to see the size of the venue. We were impressed at how quickly he got back with us through email.

I was invited to show my work at The Mercury for the 2nd Friday Art-walk. Greg was very friendly and helpful! This is a beautiful space that feels both rustic and contemporary with a lot of space and possibilities for a variety of events.

Me and my husband had our wedding reception at the mercury, and it did not disappoint! The place is beautiful and spacious, and Greg was great to work with! We went there for a wedding. It was so hot. Even with the thermostat cranked down, the air just couldn't keep up. Maybe it was the door constantly opening and shutting and the number of people. Other than the heat, the venue was okay. The flooring could use some updating and repair. It was fairly uneven in places. It made for a pretty place with indoor and outdoor tables. Maybe earlier in the spring or in the fall would be more comfortable with the temperature or maybe they need a better cooling system. More...

Great place for an event.
The mercury has a large outdoor area as well as indoors. Cafe lights light up the outdoor area at night to give it a great ambiance. The location is great and within walking distance of the main downtown area . More...
