The Market at Edgewood is awesome and the people who work there are totally fantastic. The location is great and the staff is very knowledgeable. They have outstanding deli with wide selection of imported cheeses, and unbelievable produce section and you can bet the food is always well prepared and fresh and their bakery is one of the best I've ever seen! This neighborhood went way too long without a grocery store and when the Market at Edgewood opened, the neighborhood was brought back to life again. the whole experience from walking into the floral dept n seeing the seasonal knick knacks for ur home decor, going thru. and seeing the beautiful display of fresh, unique produce, to the delicious bakery section with amazing picture perfect cakes n pastries, and than topping it off with a great check out process where at the end kids are offered a free piece of fruit. its such a personable genuine neighborhood market. We went in there to day and we're so excited that when we went home we grabbed my mom and went back. The store is beautiful!
They were smart and kept things in the same places they were when it was Fresh Market so immediately we felt right at home. Prices are better than Piazza and Whole Foods (but we don't know what Whole Foods is right now since Amazon took over.) Since Safeway is really Andronico's those prices have gone up so I would say they are fairly competitive.
Beautiful meat section, The bakery looked amazing and they are going to have many of the special things that we loved so much about the previous market. My daughter sampled the sushi and also the chicken salad and pronounced it phenomenal.
They have some tables and chairs by the deli so you can sit and eat at lunch and they are going to get in breakfast sandwiches. They are also going to put in a juice bar!
We are lucky to have such a beautiful store im the neighborhood....let's all support it!

I just went there again with a friend and picked up some sandwiches. She and my mother are picky so when they said they were the best they mean it.
Thick, meaty and fresh. A great value.
Oh and don’t forget the bakery section. Quality ingredients make quality cakes. Not to mention the baker, Isabella.
The entire store looks like someone hand picked everything for me.
Highly recommend.
