Great boutique hotel. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The pool was a highlight, loved the chaise lounges in the pool. Highly recommend this as your Dallas home away from home. More...

I met some family here, and ate and drank at their restaurant/bar. Amazing food, and even more amazing staff. The place was great, and I will never forget their hospitality!

This a great hotel. They only been open for 4 years, but they stay true to the Kimpton brand with beautiful rooms and impeccable service. My wife and I stayed here for our first anniversary and were very pleased. We were surprised to find the staff had also dropped of a bottle of prosecco in our room while we were at dinner with a nice handwritten note by the management.

We would absolutely stay here again.

Very fast service, but no onsite parking is slightly annoying.

Fantastic bartender! I was very impressed with the service. We arrived 10 min before closing on a Thursday night to have a cocktail. .. were informed that they were about to close. Nevertheless, were provided great service while they closed out. Nice wine list, beautiful open contemporary environment with a nice patio. I will return. More...

Really an excellent hotel, great value for money, and fantastic food. The service went above and beyond when I e-mailed them and let them know I left my charger behind. I arranged a pick up, the on-duty manager Dan Macey was exceptional. Highly recommended. More...

Located right by SMU campus on Hillcrest. Unfortunately there's no public parking available and the only car option is to valet. You can arrive and depart as many times as you want with the car but it's still a per night $25 fee. The receptionists were always so friendly and kind which is a testament to that Southern hospitality and always readily available. My favorite part of the room was how soft and comfortable the bed was. Truly an amazing sleep for the night. I didn't get to try the restaurant, and unfortunately the hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast but the coffee offered in the mornings was actually pretty good quality. With Snider plaza and other Hillcrest restaurants nearby, this is a great stay for anyone who has any business with SMU or in the park cities area. There is also a discount for those associated with SMU I believe so check that out! More...

Great alternative to big chains. Great location, good restaurant and comfortable rooms.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff made you feel very welcome. The only downsides were that the valet parking is actually $25 per day instead of what is advertised as $22 online and the bed was just okay not as comfy as I would expect for the price tag of the room.

I am surprised this is a 3 star hotel. Should be at least 4 stars. Great boutique style, updated rooms. Love that they have a jam box in it that we could bring down to the cabana style pool. We also loved that we could bring our dog. The rooftop at night was pretty. Couldn't see skyline or too much of Dallas like people mentioned but there's it is beautiful seating and peaceful up there. Driving in I was expecting the typical tall building on a small lot, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a small two story structure nestled among other similar health and wellness buildings in the middle of a perfectly manicured park that covers several acres. The property is fenced / gated in a slightly clinical institutional way, but once your on the property that fence locks out the urban noise and stress. It felt a lot more like the countryside of the Berkshires and not the middle of Dallas 2 miles from the Galleria. The building is older with historic charm peeking out around every corner, but it has been well maintained and updated. The welcome packet in our room consisted of a small bag of pills. At first I thought it was Viagra and Zoloft to help melt away the years and help us both see the big "o", but it turned out to be vitamins. Very nice but not THAT helpful. The corner two room suite was wonderful with high quality furniture and bedding. With a TV in both rooms and a door between them allowed the work-a-holic to pound away on the laptop without disturbing the other. The free breakfast was also great, except the syrup was sugar free. Call me crazy, but even though I am on a diet I still like my syrup really sweet. The outdoor pool was open and properly heated, the spa facilities and restaurant are both 5 - star. The parking lot was full of Texas tags (except mine) so the locals obviously justify the time here for the services alone. More...
