This was my first time using LNN, and I will absolutely be returning! Lisa was so responsive and easy to work with when planning, and I was amazed at how prepared her team was. On January 6, 2018, my son and his beautiful bride were married at Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville - during our pre-planning we discovered that we would be needing someone to watch the small children attending the wedding. The wedding coordinator at Farmington recommended the Local Nanny Network, LLC, and I could not have had a more positive experience. Melissa R., appeared right on time and took the four (4) children 3, 4 1/2, 4 1/2 and 12 back to my room to spend the next four 1/2 hours eating pizza, wedding cake, playing board games, watching movies and with play dough. I did not worry a single bit while attending the reception about the children's welfare as Melissa R. is an RN and she had my cell number if necessary. The children had a great time and the best endorsement I can give was given by my 3 year old grandson, who doesn't take to folk's right off, He began crying at the end of the evening when I returned to the room to relieve Melissa and she was leaving. We had the most wonderful experience with the Local Nanny Network! I am a mom of three kids (5, 2, and 3 months). We were attending a wedding in Charlottesville, VA and needed someone to watch all three kids (in one hotel room) while we were at the event. Becky was amazing! She showed up right on time, immediately stepped in to help with the baby, and played with the older two kids. The older kids loved her! I knew we could go out and not worry that everyone was being fed and well cared for back at the hotel. We returned later that evening to a very quiet room with all three sleeping soundly. My husband and I attended a wedding out of state from us at Trump winery. My whole family was invited to the wedding, so I had NO sitter. My 8-month old goes to bed at 730 and we were planning on being out much later than that, so I was thrilled when I heard the bride was so generously providing a nanny service for anyone with little ones. It couldn't have worked out better for us! We dropped him off as soon as my husband and arrived for the ceremony and he was immediately all smiles for play time with the nannies and other kids! They were in a conference room right on site so we got to pop in to say hi, grab him for a few pictures, and give a quick hug and kiss, but left all the playing, watching, dinner, and bedtime stuff to rockstar Lisa and her staff. When I went to pick him up at the end of the night he was sound asleep and stayed asleep when we transferred him to the car (that NEVER happens, so these nannies are seriously magical)! My family was traveling out of state for a wedding at Trump Winery. My husband and I were both in the wedding and our 2 year old was the flower girl. We had no other family attending the event and were so nervous about keeping our daughter entertained (without disrupting the ceremony!). Lisa was an absolute life saver. Our daughter instantly took to her (which is very rare) and Lisa even managed to get her to walk down the aisle without a single hiccup. We planned to keep our daughter with us for the majority of the reception and only use Lisa as "back-up", but she clearly wanted to go off and play with Lisa. I can't even say how wonderful it was for us to have our daughter pop in and out throughout the wedding and still be able to relax and have some child-free fun at the reception. Even as nervous first time parents, we were completely at ease having Lisa with our daughter all afternoon and night. And as if we needed any additional reassurance, the first thing our daughter said when she woke up the next morning was, “Fun with Lisa!”. More...

Local Nanny Network was hired to watch our children at a wedding at the Trump Winery in October. We were absolutely thrilled with the service. From the moment we arrived the nanny, Lisa, was nothing but helpful and friendly. My 2 year old, who is usually hesitant to be left with someone new, was made to feel extremely comfortable and showed no signs of her normal separation anxiety. I hired 6 nannys from the Local Nanny Network for my wedding reception at Castle Hill Cider. This was hands down the best decision I made during wedding planning. Though I didn't get the chance to meet the nanny's myself, all the moms and dads I talked to were very impressed!! I heard so many thank yous throughout the night. One mom even told me she got to eat dinner with her husband uninterrupted for the first time in TWO years. The kids were entertained upstairs with tons of games and activities.The parents had a blast and stayed until the very end thanks to the constant entertainment for the kids. It seemed really seamless and everyone was very professional. I am so thankful for this service which truly made our wedding a fun time for all! I highly recommend the Local Nanny Network.
