The Little Glass Slipper has regained my trust that quality customer service still exists! I needed a lei made at the last minute. I found this shop from a quick Yelp search. I called from San Francisco and they responded immediately. Delivered this beautiful lei. Definitely recommend! More...

This is my favorite florist in New York. Cary puts together the most unique arrangements and has an impeccable eye for detail. If I walk in here, I am walking out having purchased something. I don't even have a significant other to give flowers to anymore and I still find myself coming in and purchasing them. It's quite odd, but her arrangements are just that good. Thanks again, Cary! For Mother's Day, I decided to take my mom to the flower class taught by Cary and we had such a great time! From the moment we walked in, Cary was so sweet, knowledgeable, and, above all, so patient. There were two carts set up with an apron and knife and she even had delicious refreshments waiting for us! By the way, it was a very intimate class with just my mom and I, so we were able to get great one-on-one help. We learned about the proper ways to care for flowers, how to make them last longer, and so much more and we walked out not only with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, but also great tips and tricks to use at home. She answered any questions we had and really made us feel comfortable and at ease.If you're looking for an awesome class or a great gift to give someone, I 100% recommend this class. You won't be disappointed! More...

Thank you very much to the Little Glass Slipper for making a last minute garland for my sister's graduation! I called them on a Thursday afternoon and asked if it was at all possible to arrange a lei of some sort so my sister could have something to wear for her ceremony at NYU. The woman who answered was very accommodating and was able to create a lei that was more of a garland (more leaves, less flowers) since that is more of the style my sister likes. She was able to create one in an hour so I had time to give it to her before her event. The shop itself is very lovely! Located in green point among other shops and boutiques, the place has an urban jungle chic to it. Thank you again for the last minute creation! More...

This is my second time using this establishment. Both have been a genuinely good experience. The thing is they're really close to where my mom lives in Brooklyn and I like giving a local shop a crack at my business rather than the commercial guys. I'm not much of a flower snob but did ask for a nice full arrangement that wouldn't look to cheesy/small. I believe they accomplished this within my budget. It was a simple arrangement that kind of fit the bill. It was smaller than expected, but was tasteful. Strangely enough they did a better job last time with their arrangement. Overall I was satisfied just had higher expectations from my last experience. More...

Carey's "Little Glass Slipper" was the florist of choice for our daughter's wedding after searching many in the NYC area! Cary creates an atmosphere of plush and exotic beauty with her "works of natural art" which make the statement "this is an occasion to celebrate !" Cary's attention to detail in bringing the personality and desired atmosphere to the celebration is exemplary! When we met with Carey for the first time, she made us feel as though she was our personal and exclusive floral designer. Carey's suggestions to enhance our daughter's wishes were greatly appreciated. The guests were enamored with the exquisite beauty of the bride's bouquet - the combinations of floral and green with the draping vines and ribbons brought an elegance no one had seen before at any wedding. We have many pictures of guests wanting their pictures with the bride AND THE BOUQUET! The bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres complimented the bridal bouquet and added to the loveliness of the evening. The large entry bouquet at the reception site created many ohhhhs and ahhhhs from the guests! Thank YOU, Cary for helping create a truly beautiful and "magical evening" for our daughter and her husband and us! You were a key to making the wedding a total success! More...

Cary did the flowers for our wedding in December. Our needs were minimal (only 10 people) and Cary was flexible working with our small scale and budget.  She did a great job of taking my half-formed ideas and creating an absolutely gorgeous bouquet and accompanying boutonnieres and corsages. I was very happy with the results and working with her was an overall pleasure. More...

Gorgeous. All I can say is gorgeous! I had a very romantic, whimsical vision for my flowers and wedding decor and Cary nailed it. It honestly couldn't have been any better. She is very organic in her style, which I loved. She listens to what you want and is very flexible with making any changes (within a reasonable time frame of course). The only reason I scored her slightly less than perfect on responsiveness is because it was a little hard for me to get in touch with her initially via email. It's better just to call the shop directly. This is a very minor complaint and didn't at all effect how happy I was with the end result! More...

Cary at The Little Glass Slipper did an AMAZING job on our wedding flowers. I was truly obsessed with my bouquet! Everyone kept saying how beautiful the flowers were and how well they fit in with the venue and decor. The flowers totally carried the style of the wedding. I couldn't be happier.

As someone who knows very little about flowers, Cary guided me through in deciding which flowers would look best with our theme. She was very easy going and helped make sure that we were getting what we wanted, but within our budget.

I live in LA and it was very important to me to have flowers delivered someone in Brooklyn on a Tuesday.  I remembered this around dinnertime on Monday, but this place is closed on Mondays, so I emailed them through their website.  Cary emailed me back, even though it was nighttime and they were closed that day, assuring me that they could make a Brooklyn delivery on Tuesday.  When I called Tuesday morning, Cary was lovely and assured me my flowers would be delivered that day, but when she called the recipient's office to arrange delivery, she found out that he wouldn't be in the office that day but at home in Manhattan.  Cary, knowing how important it was for me to have the flowers delivered that day, emailed me and called me twice to try to tell me that the recipient was going to be in Manhattan all day and that she could arrange delivery to him that day for a small surcharge and to ask if that was ok.  I called her as soon as I got her messages and she made it all happen.  And then I called her 3 other times to confirm address, change the message on the card, etc... because I'm kinda neurotic.  She was lovely, helpful and patient through everything and it all paid off.  The recipient loved the flowers and they brightened a very sad day for him.  Thank you, Cary! We met Cary after viewing her amazing site and reading about her philosophy on flowers and arrangements. Following our first appointment I knew we had made a wonderful choice, her studio was beautiful, she was super knowledgable and very kind.

As a hands on bride she allowed me to be super collaborative and in the days leading up to the wedding she was very responsive.

The moment our bouquets arrived at the hotel I was thrilled, they were so gorgeous that I knew the moment we walked into the venue I'd also be blown away. Cary and her team transformed an already beautiful restaurant into a completely stunning wedding venue.

The bridesmaids loved their bouquets and the guests commented on how lovely the backdrop and centerpieces Cary created were.

If you need a florist you cannot go wrong with Little Glass Slipper.

Cary's little jewelbox of a flower shop on Franklin Street in Greenpoint is such a gift to find.  Her taste is impeccable; while she has roses and lilies, they are by far not the featured stars here.  Her succulents and epiphytes hang and perch from driftwood and ceramic hand thrown pots in unsuspected corners.  A large table in the center of the shop features hypericum, pomegranates on the vine, and a little yellow spiky puffball whose name I can't recall.  If Beatrix Potter had a florist, Cary would be the one.  She has created a uniquely wonderful space with a delicate and masterful touch with her botanicals.  The displays change as fast as you turn around, so revisit often. Its Valentines day again... Mad rush for flowers. Before I came to The little glass slipper, I called all over BK & LIC/Astoria for Anemone's (My wife's favorite), no one had them! But she said she could have them for me by the 14th (the next day), I literally called a dozen florists on my route from the Upper Eastside, Astoria/ LIC and BK! Everyone's prices were around the same for a dozen long stem roses $60-70. A few places in Williamsburg were asking for $90-$125! Ridiculous! They are not a storefront Florist, they're actually in a loft space in an industrial building on Greenpoint Ave. You have to call so they can come down and bring you upstairs. It's on the 2nd floor with a few turns. Would not be able to find this place on my own. I was looking to get 2 bouquets one that day and to pick up the anemone arrangement the next day. She was super nice and willing to work with my budget, even cut me a great deal since I was getting 2 arrangements! The roses were great and the 2nd bouquet I picked up the next day was pretty nice! She even added the ranunculus (another flower my wife loves) last minute when I finally remembered as I came to pick them up! The wife loved them both, especially how they were not like your typical overdone bouquets with tacky fillers. They were simple and refined with great quality flowers! Great place, but what do I really know about flowers?! Haha More...

I had never been a "flower" person, but Cary understood what I was asking of her and transformed it into something awesome. I really feel as though my bouquet was one of a kind, and the compliments I received on it lasted all day.
Our centerpieces were perfect for our garden inspired wedding, and made me smile all day.
