WOW, where shall I start. we received the most outstanding service from Greta from the moment we made our first enquiry about ordering our wedding cake Greta made everything stress free and no question was too much for Greta to answer. Our wedding cake was outstanding, the detail was beautiful and even more than what we had imagined. we had three different flavours on each tier, biscoff, carrot cake and salted caramel every tier of our cake was delicious, it is hands down the best cake we have ever had. I booked Greta in 2020 for my wedding in July 2022 and from start to finish she was outstanding.
Quick replies emails. Helpful information and just so organised as well as just being so kind.

On the wedding day she done my cake and wedding favours they looked and tasted sensational.

Once booked with Greta you don’t have to worry about anything she takes care of everything.

The cake was everything I wanted and more and the favours really made the table.

The only hard thing was that she has sooo many incredible flavours to choose from it was hard to hard to get i down ton3 tiers! 😂

I have used Greta for the last couple of years for my childrens birthday cakes. They are always decorated with the highest detail but they really are the most incredible tasting flavours. This year my son had a big party so we had super hero cupcakes and omg they were the most incredible cupcakes I’ve ever seen.

Honestly so bless I have found you and will forever only use Greta!!

The only thing I will say is if you want Greta for any occasion make sure you book early as she gets booked up so fast cause she’s the queen of baking!!

Greta created our Wedding Cake which, quite simply, was absolutely out of this world! We will put a link to some photographs in due course however we wanted people to know just how much Greta is one of a kind, something which a previous reviewer highlighted. All of our Guests commented (unasked) on how delicious, moist, succulent, juicy and rich the fruit cake was and their praise of it was genuine and not just the platitudes you can sometimes get at weddings when people are trying to be nice. It was really, really delicious and added to that the way Greta arranged the fresh flowers on it was absolutely what we had envisaged and wanted, making it a beautiful work of art to behold and gaze upon even before cutting and biting into wedding cake heaven. We shall forever remember it as being a significant and important part of our wedding day and which contributed to the overall day turning to be completely perfect. Greta also showed great patience and gracefulness when we had to postpone the wedding date twice due to the pandemic. The start and stops we had due to circumstances beyond anyone's control were made so must easier by the flexibility she showed throughout. We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of her kindness and generosity in offering and then baking the cake again so it would be completely fresh. This was unasked for and there was no extra cost, Wow, thank you! As readers probably realise, we obviously recommend her unreservedly and it is true to say so would all of our all guests. It was apparently Greta baking a cake for her daughter who was five years old at the time that started her on the baking path; The Little Cake Box being the result. We would guess that many people unknowingly owe her Daughter a huge debt of gratitude. We had so many compliments on our wedding cake made by Greta. She went out of her way to meet our needs and provided sample boxes for us to try the cakes as we couldn't meet in person due to Covid. You turned our idea for our wedding cake into the most beautiful cake we could have imagined. It was perfect. So many of our guests made a point of tell us how lovely it was. Greta made a cake for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. I explained the concept I wanted to her over the phone and she executed it exactly as we had wanted. It was so beautifully done that I almost cried when I saw it. It was a real show stopper and tasted as delicious as it looked. The admin side of things were also run very professionally. Gorgeous cakes, amazing communication and great tasting too. After only giving a couple weeks notice Greta was able to make my sons first birthday cake precisely how I imagined it! I gave her some photo ideas and told her my ideas and she made it better than i thought. Communication is amazing too, she messages back within minutes and was always updating me and asking questions when she needed too. It also tasted amazing! I didn't really expect it to taste so nice as in my experience cakes like these look great but don't taste very nice but this was moist and such a nice taste. Greta made our nautical themed wedding cake a year ago and we recently commissioned her again to make our first anniversary cake because she is that good! Greta made our wedding cake for us, for our wedding in October 2017.
Before we booked, we met up and she made us some different flavours for us to try, to see what kind of cake flavour we wanted. It was also a chance to discuss design.
When we wanted to book, it was really easy. We just paid a deposit, and she delivered on the day.
She made us a three tier wedding cake, with a different sponge on each layer. One was marble cake, one was vanilla sponge, and one was banoffee sponge.
Each layer was delicious!
In addition to this, she decorated it like three stacked tree stumps, and covered it with edible autumnal leaves made from icing. It looked absolutely brilliant!
Finally, she agreed to and flawlessly pulled of our ludicrous request that our cake toppers be a bear and a shark getting married. Inside joke for us. But she did it, and it was amazing.

Greta made our wedding cake and it surpassed all expectations. We had booked it so long before our wedding day, we had actually forgotten about the lace overlay we had asked for. That made it all the more special when Greta opened the cake box to reveal our cake. Greta, we cannot thank you enough. We were hyper-organised when it came to our wedding but the one part we allowed someone else (the father of the bride) to do was find and choose the cake. He has a very discerning palette so we knew he wasn't going to be easily pleased! Once the cake was chosen Greta from The Little Cake Box was then in touch with us and our decorator to make sure that the look of the cake was spot and she really didn't disappoint. She was really helpful by e-mail and then as the groom I finally met Greta the morning of the wedding when she arrived to set up and she was completely charming in person as well. In design the cake surpassed our expectations, I wasn't sure about a 'semi-naked' cake but was overruled by the wife-to-be and she was spot on. It tied in with our venue and our theme wonderfully.Then of course there was the taste. So many of our guests were so complimentary about various parts of the wedding but the cake certainly had it's fair share of noisy fans! Greta had been concerned that as we had the heating on and the cake was sat out all day that it may dry out - if what we ate was dry then I can't imagine how good it would have been first thing!
