I had initial interview and booked next appt. But cancelled it as my company offered to pay for me to see the company counsillor. After realising there was a 8 weeks waiting list, I emiled The listening post to say I was struggling and could I re book to see them as I couldnt wait 8 weeks. I was told no! I am utterly shocked. . I would of been paying and I was told i couldnt now go back to them for help! What sort of counsilling service turns people down. Hi Donna, sorry you feel like we let you down but we actually said you were better waiting the 8 weeks as to start with one counsellor then switch when your companies counsellor was available so soon would be detrimental, so would be better waiting for the service you wanted. If you would like to complain, we are open to hearing the complaints.

What do you love most about your job?
Our counsellors have joined us because they love what they do, they feel it is a calling. The best part of the job is seeing the different people and being given the privilege to walk alongside them while they are on their own road to what they want to change or where they want to be.
Knowing by giving someone the space to explore their thoughts, feelings and emotions, and truly listening without judging them, a person is able to make those changes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We started our agency because we feel that many more people would like to access counselling but do to one reason or another, they feel they couldn't.
Our aim is enable counselling is accessible to everyone regardless of issue, gender, sexuality, finance or background. We want to raise awareness of mental health and feel it is as important as physical health.
Why should our clients choose you?
We feel we offer counselling that is client lead, from our approach ( integrative approach), ensuring each counsellor has varied past experience working with different issues, to our sliding scale ( making counselling accessible to all)

Initial appointment between 30 & 50 minutes long accessed through a telephone call, where we also discuss how you would like future sessions to be accessed. (telephone or zoom)
