I don't think anyone plans in their life to be forced into a position of having to hire a divorce lawyer. Divorce was never in my vocabulary. After 21 years of being happily married and raising 2 wonderful daughters together, I was betrayed and abandoned by my wife who decided that being selfish and just for herself was a better idea than a committed marriage. I was in total shock and disbelief and desperate as I was being emotionally abused and intimidated by my spouse because I didn't want the marriage to end. Fortunately, after reluctantly talking to several divorce attorneys, I was referred to Gina Ghioldi by my neighbor's estate attorney Frank Yunes, from the office of Betcher and Yunes. At the first meeting I felt that Gina Ghioldi had my back and she explained things to me that grounded me back into reality and gave me confidence to face this nightmare. Gina also is experienced dealing with children of disabilities of which I have a daughter with a disability, so that also helped in making my decision that they would be the right representation. Gina appointed me Rhonda Levy as my attorney that would work with me, describing her as a "Shark" in court. After meeting with Rhonda we came up with a strategy and stuck to the plan. Rhonda was very caring and yet firm with me when I let my emotions get the best of me, which was basically all the time. She was courteous to my spouse and her representative even though they made a straight-forward divorce overly complicated and drawn out. In the end, Rhonda's did her best preparing for the for the pre-hearing, prepping me. Her performance in front of the judge was terrific. I basically put all my trust in her and she delivered. In the end I wish this nightmare never had to occur, but if I wasn't represented with good counsel form Rhonda and Gina, I probably would have been steam rolled and lost everything I worked hard for. The divorce took about a year and I was able to buy out my ex-wife and keep my home and am living there with my 2 daughters. And as of this date I am not paying any alimony. I would also like to call out paralegal Alex Morozov for this professionalism and promptness in expediting all the legal forms I had to deal with. Gina Ghioldi is an amazing family law attorney. She has complete mastery of her field. She is also empathetic and a great communicator. She guided me through the divorce process, making a potentially stressful and difficult time as tolerable as possible. I’m a busy physician with my own practice. She is cost conscious and efficient, allowing me to focus on my patients while keeping me in the loop. 

She is well respected amongst lawyers. When I needed a real estate agent, she referred me to someone who immediately contacted me and had nothing but great things to say about attorney Ghioldi. 

Attorney Ghioldi is a true professional. She takes the time to accept calls to answer my questions and if she is unavailable she always returns my calls.
