After years of asking friends to dog sit it got a little too much so I knew I’d have to find somewhere for my two fur babies to stay. Initially I visited what was classed as a posh boarding kennel with underfloor heating, a tv and four poster bed. It broke my heart seeing the small space they would be in for nearly 22 hours a day. Eventually I found a lovely lady who took great care of them but sadly after a couple of years she could no longer home board.I visited three different companies that all offered home boarding. They were either ridiculously expensive, not really set up for dog boarding or too far away. I’d almost given up hope when The K9 Club was recommend to me. I visited their home address and was instantly at ease, as was both of my dogs. The house is perfect for any four legged guest and my two don’t even look back at me when I drop them off. Ellie loves going to the K9 club Derby, she just walks in their house with her tail wagging and greets Gareth as she does her own family. She is so well looked after that I am happy to leave her for breaks away, it really is home from home and I have peace of mind that Ellie loves being with Gareth and Stacey. Ellie goes out for walks with Gareth and Stacey regularly, she gets so excited when she sees him coming to the door and is knackered when she gets home which is a bonus as she has so much energy, wouldn't change them for anything now

After receiving a very high recommendation for the K9 Club I recently visited to meet the owners and see the facilities. Both of my dogs were instantly relaxed with Stacey, Gareth and Fletch. Their house is well equipped and a wonderful size as is their garden. I could see Bella and Cassie would be treated just as well if not better than they would be in my own home. They have just returned after their first overnight stay and after some lovely walks and lots of cuddles they are both happy, content and curled up on my knee. I am one of those flappy dog mums who misses them desperately so it was lovely to receive photos of their stay and updates which clearly showed they weren’t missing me! I felt entirely at ease with trusting Gareth & Stacey with my two and knew they would be very well cared for and spoilt.
