Good food for the price that you pay, but it's the staff that truly make the place great.
Every time I've visited the service has been excellent, and the staff have been both friendly and helpful.
They are accomodating and happy to bring drinks straight to your table if you want.
They have a decent food selection, and more than enough choices for vegetarians to enjoy too. The decor is also much better than a lot of pubs - they make great use of an ex-post office building.
Overall, a great pub that is definitely worth a visit.

We had a family meal here today and have been coming regularly for a couple of years. It is an excellent restaurant with freshly cooked food to order and very friendly staff. They always try their best to cater for everyone including vegetarian meals and lovely roast dinners too. They also do different size meals as an option for people with a smaller appetite.
