The Jarrs played at our 50th Birthday party. They were absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to book them again. They are especially impressive as a six piece, and their presence and musicality shines through. We had 130 party goers and almost all of them commented on how brilliant the band was. The Jjarrs were fantastic! They played out our community event held at the Kings Head in Pebmarsh, Essex and they smashed it! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The band were professional. Arrived well ahead of the start time to set up, great songs, played for 3hrs and everyone loved them which was the most important thing! What more can be said. Top top band. So I recently got married and it was the best day and evening to celebrate with our friends and family after such a long ordeal of the pandemic. Our first dance was one to remember -"Have I told you lately- Van Morrison" made all the most special by the Jjars who specifically learnt the song for us. The whole band were absolutely fabulous in respect of their sound, individuality and professionalism. On the morning of the wedding they were nice and early to set up and the sound check was an amazing motivator before my vows. Honestly and truly I couldn't recommend a band above the Jjars as they are just amazing. Thier range of music and song choices is amazing and it was a great way to fill our dance floor. I would say great value for money aswell- though they are honestly so good I would recommend an increase in thier prices. I would pay whatever they asked for the services they provided. We were lucky enough to have The JJarrs perform at our annual Summer Party to just over 1000 people. Leading up to the event they were consistently professional and extremely quick to answer any queries via email, which meant getting the boring stuff like H&S documents and sorting logistics was super easy. The performance itself was even better than expected! They played a great mixture of songs that everyone new and it got everyone up singing along and dancing. By the final song the party goers didn’t want them to leave and we were spoilt with one extra song. When gathering feedback on the event itself we received multiple comments on how excellent the band were and we’ve been asked to make sure we get the band back for the Christmas party too. I've heard the Jjarrs many times over the years so just had to have them at my wedding. It is handy that my brother in law is the bass player, however it was always a given. We had The Jjarrs play at our wedding and they absolutely made it the best night! The request we had for our first dance was not a song they had performed before, but they were more than happy to sing it for us, and they did it absolutely brilliantly. It was a fantastic day anyway, having The Jjarrs play and get everyone up and dancing just made it that little bit more excellent (and when I say everyone, I do mean from the youngsters to the 80 year olds!)! The Jjarrs performed at a recent charitable function that we co-hosted. They did a magnificent job for us giving everything we asked for and so much more.
They sounded amazing and they did literally have everyone on the dance floor. They certainly know how to keep a crowd on their feet and their wide range of music was certainly the best we have experienced.
Such a great bunch of guys to work with, they helped us on the build up to the event with some great advice, on the day they arrived ahead of schedule to make sure they could get set up in time and they were very slick and organised throughout. Nothing but praise for these guys, would recommend you to anyone.

What do you love most about your job?
Entertaining guests at events where we are performing. There is nothing better than seeing people smiling, singing along and dancing the songs we play. It's what live performance is all about as far as we are concerned.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It is the only way to make a professional band work. You all have to have the same drive, focus and ambition. We strive to make live music the first choice for any function or event where entertainment is required.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have established ourselves over a number of years as being one of the best live function bands around. Every booking or event is approached in the same professional manner ensuring our clients can trust us to do everything that is asked of us. We fully understand the pressure organisers of events are under and we will go out of our way to assist in anyway we can during the planning phase, the set up process and especially when the lights go up to make sure things go off with a bang! (not literally of course)
