Wonderful exhibitions, very peaceful atmosphere, and plenty of information to take in! Was free when I went because it was Sunday! Fell in love with some of the rings on display! Wow, this place was not at the top of my list but I am very glad I stopped in! Take a visit while in Limerick! More...

We've just visited the museum with the docent Mary O'Connor who has been lovely with us. We've learnt a lot about Ireland and the Hunt family. Thank you Mary!

More...

This is a must see Museum/gallery in Limerick and worth making a special trip there to view. It’s housed in a fabulous building and the volunteer staff are a mine of information. The eccentric eclectic collection is fabulous and there are just enough exhibits on display to make it interesting without overload. The cafe is also very good. More...

A great and quite eclectic museum that is a real benefit to Limerick city and value to Ireland. The Collection is very much the result of two people's lifelong interest coupled with the means and opportunities to pursue those interests. Some minor aspects like paintwork and item cards could do with a refresh but this is a very enjoyable two hour visit in a great building and location. I particularly enjoyed the current contemporary Irish ceramics mini exhibition this time around and would like to see the museum pursue this area in future. More...

To be completely honest, we did not go inside; however they very kindly allowed my motger and I to sit in the courtyard until our ride arrived. We never felt pressured to leave.
