We just had Rachel and Holy City Cupcakes for my son's wedding. Not only were they a pleasure to work with in the ordering process, and reasonable in price, the cupcake bar was such a hit. We tried the cupcake milkshakes and they were amazing. We had the Birthday cake and the strawberry cheesecake milkshakes. They took there time making them but that wasn’t a bad thing because they make it taste good and look good to . Rachel at Holy City Cupcakes was amazing to work with! We booked Rachel almost a year in advance and leading up to the big day she was on top of everything. We're a bit late with the review, but we really wanted to take the time to thank Rachel for her touch on our special day. We did not want a huge wedding cake for two main reasons ; they’re expensive and we didn’t want to choose a single flavor. We decided to opt for cupcakes and one small cake to for us and to put our wedding topper on. During the tasting, not only did we get an actual big size cupcake for each flavor (we got to take them all home, too), we loved all of them so much that we just split the amount we needed into five different flavors. I got cupcakes from their roving cupcake bus that came to my apt. complex. First the good. Those cupcakes are hands down the best I have ever eaten. Oh my gosh they are so moist, you could blow a hole through them. Lots of flavors to choose from. Now the not so good...the guy selling the cupcakes was on his cell phone the whole time. I never knew if he was talking to me or the phone. Trying to get information out of him was like pulling teeth. I carried $32 worth of cupcakes and a drink without ever the offer of a bag to put the containers in. To be honest I would buy them again if Jack the Ripper was selling them. They are that good. I decided to get a cupcake walking through the mall one day and I was pleasantly surprised! They had a lot of different cupcake and icing combinations you can try. Choosing the cake and icing flavors was fun. The result was even better than I expected. I tried a cheesecake cupcake with peanut butter frosting.... It was beyond delicious!
