HHPC is the most amazing place. Every horse and pony is cared for in such an individual way. It is great to find a place where the animals needs genuinely come first. I think also from a client perspective the atmosphere is wonderful. I would recommend it again and again. More...

What a wonderful place for a little person to start riding. Our little 3 yr old grooms, tacks up and gets one to one lessons with the most patient lady. Thanks to all of the lovely staff. On Wednesday I had a life changing experience. i went for a private equine therapy session with Wendy Price. First of all we talked about what I was fearful of and how I could move forward. Then we worked with the horse, Harry, in his stable. I won't go into the profound, inspirational and trust discoveries we had. I've not been on any of Wendy's courses yet but those who have all say how amazing it is. I have been to the yard and the people and horses are all very friendly and are real characters :-) attitude and culture both filter down from the top and Wendy's patience and guidance are definitely reflected everywhere you go. I absolutely love the Holistic Horse and Pony Centre - the horses are allowed to be horses, and the people are wonderfully open-hearted, warm and friendly. I came back into riding after a long break and found the whole new way of being with horses that I had been searching for. Now I am now helping out with the Sunday Pony Club and I have a special pony to have fun with both on the ground and in the saddle (or more often, bareback!). My sessions with Wendy have been transformative - as a creative and writer herself she really understands the kinds of issues that come up for me, and has a wonderful gentle way of trusting you and the horses to work things out together, without diving in and doing it for you, but by holding the space for you to discover and express anything you need to. Wendy and John and the horses have created such a special space - you have to come and experience it for yourself. A place to go if you want to feel uplifted. It has such a welcoming atmosphere and everybody here put's the horses first. I am so grateful to be able to be part of it with my 14 year old daughter . Incredible riding school, in a natural setting. The horses are able to be themselves and you can feel at one with your true nature in turn which is inspiring and comforting. The owner is warm and kind and staff are very helpful. My daughter recently had a 7th Birthday party at the stables which everyone (including parents) thoroughly enjoyed! I would highly recommend this to any parent. The children loved meeting the ponies, grooming them, learning how to saddle them and riding around the school with each other. More...

Our daughter has been going here for a year and a half now, having 1 to 1 horse riding lessons. She loves it, they teach her all aspects of horse riding including how to look after 'her' pony to jumping in the school. I would thoroughly encourage anyone looking to take up horse riding to visit. I thoroughly recommend the Holistic Horse and Pony Centre. They provide a much needed, down to earth service including lessons, hacking in beautiful Surrey countryside, Pony Days, Equine Assisted Therapy Days and much more. I haven't looked back since I joined and feel very at home. Best of all the horses are treated very well and they are kept naturally, in a herd.
