I noticed several people left bad reviews but my stay was terrific. I stayed in Rm 1. It was clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable. The front desk person was friendly. Breakfast at Paradise Coffee was good. Sadly I didn't have any "ghost experiences" but I would stay again. More...

Stayed one Saturday night for a birthday celebration. We live local so it was a stay-cation for us. The hotel was easy to check into and quickly had us in our room. Room was excellent with a huge tub, bigger bathroom than excepted and a nice huge bed. We had shutters that opened to the back of the hotel facing the wagon yard. Wow! I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The best part was, I could say that I officially checked into the Nutt House and it was true! lolVery quaint and historic hotel loaded with charm in every nook and cranny. Although the place is very old I thought the room was very comfortable, especially the bed!Be warned that the walls are thin and the stairs \ floors are creaky. It's like staying in a large house full of family. I could see how some folks might be annoyed but I enjoyed it.On the weekends, they serve a hot breakfast (buffet style) with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits n gravy as well as cereal and juices. ...and coffee!If you want a unique and cozy hotel experience I'd definitely recommend this place! I would recommend this b and b to all my friends. We loved our stay there. Everyroom has it's own updated bathroom with a, deep garden soak tub. They have a homemade breakfast. Stayed one night and definitely enjoyed it. Right when you enter, you feel at home. Melinda was extremely kind and down to earth. The room made my fiance and I feel as if we were back in time, with the flat screen TV being the only out of place item lol. They use the honor system, so you have access to the shop's items after hours and you hold the key to the building. They trust that you'll lock up, and if you take an item off the shelf, you just pay in the morning when Melinda shows up. The bathroom was amazing, the room was very spacious with high ceilings. Everything you need is walking distance. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to Granbury. Can't wait to come back! More...

Awesome place! I LOVE Miss Melinda! She is so sweet and very knowledgeable about the history of the building and Granbury. I could talk with her for hours. We were there for a funeral, took 6 of the 7 rooms. Everyone treated us like family and the atmosphere was like being at Grandma's house. Hot breakfast on the weekends is delicious. Only thing I would suggest is maybe use softener on the towels. Next time I'm in Granbury I will DEFINITELY commit myself to the Nutt House! We may even make it an annual event for the family! Exactly what I was looking for in historic Granbury. The location is perfect, right on the town square, walking distance to good restaurants and great entertainment (The Opera House and Ghost tour). The hotel itself is awesome, very historical with many old photos of Granbury and antiques. Nice shop downstairs. Parking is plentiful. The rooms were quiet and comfortable the breakfast was acceptable. The owners made us feel at home. I highly recommend the Nutt House if your looking for a weekend get away in Granbury. More...

A very historic place with a lot of history in it. You will be surprised at the amount of history that you will find in this town. The staff is very friendly and they will be more than happy to answer your questions. If you are coming to this town, you definitely have to check this place out, even if it is for just one night. Some friends are I went to the Nutt for the sole purpose of conducting a paranormal investigation. Â Staff were friendly and accomodating, and ready to share their stories of activity.
