I have gotten a few massages here and they were AMAZING. I had deep-seated pain in my shoulders from working on the computer, but after an hour my muscles felt like new!
He really knew how to get in the right accupressure points to unlock my knots. Great technique, and really good with communicating and customizing the session to exactly what I needed!

Arya provides an amazing and intuitive massage treatment. I thought I was having breathing difficulties due to my seasonal allergies and after my massage. My breathing completly opened up! I feel like he removed an invisible corset from me. That was just from one treatment on my shoulders amd neck. He also did trigger points on my lymphatic system so I went through a major detox and peed like crazy for two days. I could feel like an energy circulating throughout my body. Arya is a very special being. I'm so glad I found him on Yelp and was able to have a session the same day. Arya started with Reiki and I could feel my emotional discomfort start to lighten immediately. He checked in often as the session moved on. His deep tissue work is not for the faint of heart, but the pain moved me into a state of surrender. Afterwards I felt like my senses were heightened and my energy field much more clear. I went from being fatigued to the point of near paralysis, disheartened and stressed out, to doing yoga push ups and having a dance party in my living room when I got home! Each day since I am waking up feeling lighter and being very productive and relaxed with my days. I'm going to purchase a package of 10 sessions so I can go back twice a month! More...

Arya is a gifted bodyworker and I've benefited greatly from his treatments! The problems I've had with my shoulders/shoulder blades were not improving through yoga or stretching, but Arya's unique combination of restorative/deep massage and Reiki therapy has me feeling so much better. After one session I felt lighter, and after a follow up session I felt the knots and longstanding shoulder pain noticeably dissipate. Arya practices at his apartment in Emeryville, which is conveniently right off the 580. The studio is small, but comfy and with a great crystal collection! Arya makes sure I'm comfortable with the right tunes, tea or water, and check-in. We discuss what is going on with me physically and what levels of pressure in certain areas I am used to, tailoring the therapy with what's needed for me that day. The Healers Corner is a short walk away from my place, and I reached out on short notice when I had a dull headache with sore neck pain going on its second day. Although Arya mentioned that he typically accepts appointments at least 24 hours in advance, he made an exception to accommodate me and was super understanding and empathetic of the pain that I was in. I came to The Healers Corner expecting the typical strip mall massage environment and walked into a residence instead. It caught me off guard at first, but Arya was instantly welcoming and professional, and I didn't give it any more thought. I filled out some forms and Arya patiently listened to me and then gave a thorough explanation of the upcoming massage. The massage itself was incredible - he worked out all of my hidden knots, and I truly left energized! Typically, I feel lighter in step after massage, but in this case, I felt as though blood flow and connectivity were finally reaching all of my chronically stiff and immovable painpoints. It was incredible! Arya's rates are definitely competitive with the rates you'll find in the city - for me, it's a luxury I wish could afford more often, and I will be returning as soon as I can. Arya is a great massage therapist. He is attentive to what needs fixing and goes directly to the problem and fixed it. I had terrible lower back issues and he fixed them already several times . .. I met Arya at a party where he was offering massages, and I was completely impressed by his work. Â I have had many massages in my time, and nothing quite like what I experienced with Arya. Â He had firm pressure, good communication, and knew how the various muscles fit together, so when he massaged one area - another part of my body felt relaxed.
