Highly recommend Karla & Chris, very professional caring service, felt very comfortable leaving our 17 week old border collie for 2 nights. Karla & Chris were recommended to me by a friend when I was struggling to find someone to look after our 5month old Lab, India, while we were on holiday. We went for a meet and greet and I knew instantly that India would be happy there. We needed to leave her somewhere that would feel like home. Where she would have lots of cuddles and be able to sit on heads and chew ears, just like she does at home And this is exactly what we got! I was kept informed of how India was with regular pupdates and pictures. When we picked India up she was very happy, so we knew she’d had a lovely time. My little Jack Russell Missy has spent a week with Karla and its fair to say shes been extremely well looked after. We love the Happy Hower! We use for weekly walks and overnight boarding both services they have excelled at. I have a large black lab who can be a little boisterous but they control him well and so good with him. They ensure all checks are done so your dog and others as always safe. Got to get Pip back from Karla today after 8 days being spoiled in their wonderful care. She has been so well looked after & loved there, also making new canine friends . Karla looked after my jack and frenchie for me overnight as a last minute request whilst i was at a wedding. My frenchie is easy but my jack can be difficult at times and not always predictable with other dogs. karla looked after them as amazingly and sent me pictures of them having fun across the fields which they love. I was able to relax and enjoy my night away knowing that karla would spoil them rotten and they would be happy which means more than anything to me. Left my 2 dogs with Karla for the weekend while we attended our daughter's wedding and i must say i was so impressed with how she was with them The Happy Howler is fully insured and pricings are good. . We met up a few times before i went away for walks so Karla could get youst to the dogs and they could get youst to Karla and her house, and i must say that they both made there selves at home While i was away they had many walks and cuddles how do i know this well karla keeps you up todate with how things are going with regular photos and a text .The dogs were so laid back when i went to pick them up that my mind was made up that i will definitely be using The Happy Howler again . We love Karla and Chris, but more importantly our dogs do. Our first rescue dog, Ruby doesn’t like being left on her own. Cue The Happy Howler . After been cancelled on twice Karla managed to squeeze our cocker spaniel puppy in for two weeks last min! We received regular messages & also photos whilst we was on holiday letting us know that he was ok & what he had been up to which was lovely when in a different country. Whilst we was away our dog fell poorly and Karla & Chris picked up on this straight away & immediately took him to the vets and got him the treatment he needed. This morning picked up my 16 month old Labrador, still a puppy and it’s seems will never grow up lol. He has a bit of a wood floor phobia which came from nowhere, and Karla and Chris came up with a brilliant idea of putting blankets and carpets down so he could move around without thinking. We have now taken this on board at home, fingers crossed it works for us. Karla and Chris have a passion and loads of patience for dogs, they definitely needed it with mine �. Nothing was to much trouble and this says a lot about them. We had daily updates and pics on his antics, many by all accounts, and this made our holiday worry free. I was so pleased that we have finally found someone we can trust to have my dog whilst we are away.

This is a professional service to which is also a homely environment that any pet owner would want whilst leaving there pets with another.
Really great communication whilst I was away with picture and video updates, just enough to uphold reassurance that everything was okay.

What a fabulous weekend lola has had, she's been spoilt rotten and loved lots.. My girls went for doggy day care following a meet and greet. Karla is very much dog oriented and honest, she kept me informed that one of my girls was not settling but later in the day she did settle down and she will hopefully become more used to a different environment in time.

I had been let down twice before I found Karla but am now so grateful that I was. She is obviously passionate about dogs in general and understanding of them as individual personalities, so I had no reservations from the start about leaving Robbie, my Westie, with her. It was the first time he had been anywhere for a whole week and I received daily texts to let me know how he was doing - including being cooked a chicken breast as a treat, which he doesn't get at home?. He had long daily walks and slept on the sofa with another boarding dog, without his usual creep up the stairs in the early hours, although this was an option for him. He had such a good time I don't think he really wanted to come home. In fact, he then returned to Karla and Chris for a random day a week later and ran inside without a backward glance. I have already recommended the service to several people and Robbie (that's him on the photo) will definitely be a regular visitor. More...

Robbie spent his first holiday with Karla and Chris recently for a week. It was his first long break away from home so I was quite anxious, but absolutely needn't have been. He was looked after just as well as he is at home and even had a paddling pool to cool down in during the hot weather. I was kept informed with texts, which put my mind at rest so I could enjoy my holiday without worrying. Karla's enthusiasm for dogs shines through and Robbie was so obviously happy there that he returned for a day a week later and will continue to do so. Many thanks to both Karla and Chris.
