Andy at The Growth Enterprise is an excellent consultant who has a unique gift of being able to understand a business quickly and know what they need to do to streamline and automate their systems as well as identifying cost saving opportunities and R&D Tax Claims.

Q&As

I love the fact that I can help business owners achieve their growth plans in a logical and sustainable way. I also love the fact that no two days are the same and also no two clients are the same.

In the aftermath of the financial crisis i saw banks behave in an explicable and unethical way towards business owners, some of whom lost everything because of there bad practice. I wanted to support business owners through the good and the bad times and show them that they could build a solid business without relying on banks for support. I started the Growth Enterprise to be a trusted business partner to midlands based businesses.

Our Vision
"To be the trusted SME Business Partner in the Midlands for inspirational, Innovative solution options."

Over the years our insight and ability to find practical solutions is always undertaken in a strictly ethical way that means any solution proposed is focused towards the best interests of our clients. We have a range of solutions that provide help and support to an SME business.

Our Mission
"To give you back the time to develop your business not just run it."

Services

At The Growth Enterprise we have skilled consultants that will be able to help and advise you on the best methods in adopting a Business Process Automation Solution (BPA). The term Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution may be more a more familiar term to you, but modern cloud based solutions offer much more than CRM.

The BPA process is geared toward implementing software applications to automate routine business tasks through initiation, execution and completion, while achieving enterprise-wide workflow efficiency.
Many businesses still operate several systems such as, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, and Production, but they do not communicate effectively and duplicate data.

Want to access Grant funding but don’t know where to start? Then you have come to the right people. TGE have helped many companies successfully apply and complete grant applications.

We work with a wide variety of Grant Panels and advisory services and have access to a huge range of funding programmes and schemes.

With our team of bid writers at the ready to assist you in your application we have a success rate of over 80%.

We don’t just help with the application, we support you on the after care of a grant application once it is approved. Many think that getting the grant is the hard bit. This is only half the story. There is a huge amount of administration once you have been awarded the grant and this can be both complex and time consuming.

If you own a limited company that has been trading for more than 12 months and has developed new or improved existing products, processes, systems, devices or materials, then there is a significant chance you will be eligible to claim for Research & Development tax relief. Irrespective of whether your company is currently making profit or operating at a loss, a claim could still be possible.

51% of UK SMEs have never heard of R&D tax relief

R&D tax relief can apply to businesses that are liable for Corporation Tax, it can help to reduce a Corporation Tax liability or can be claimed as a cash sum paid back to a company by HM Revenue & Customs. (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/corporation-tax-research-and-development-rd-relief)

TGE know how important it is to carefully plan tax affairs both at a corporate level and a personal one.

We have access to a range of experts that can provide both regulated and non-regulated advice on planning tax affairs.
We have access to a range of planning tools that both assist personal and corporate tax arrangements.
We have access to a range of experts all the way from Queens Counsel to specialist tax advisors and chartered accountants.

The key to successful planning is to get advice early on and then plan a long-term strategy. We pride ourselves on putting clients first and making sure we understand their needs and prioritise their needs and objectives.

Our teams keep up to date with legislative changes and offer a bespoke service around the client’s individual needs as no two planning schemes are the same.

Living and breathing your business plan
A business plan is a document that is made up of business goals, that are attainable, and the plans for reaching them. It may also contain background information about the organisation and the team, and the part that each employee will play in reaching those goals. A business plan also acts as a sort of road map, providing directions should a business lose track of its end goals, and it can also be used to analyse potential risks and problems that might crop up in the future.

Finance organisations will need to see an up to date business plan for them to assess your suitability for finance.

Sometimes it can be hard to identify and articulate your plans. We can help your set your business plan into a document that can be read and understood by the wider business community.

Business plans are often written for a new financial year but quickly forgotten, left in an office drawer. The plan must be review at least on a quarterly basis and altered if necessary to reflect the current business position.

We will ensure that this takes place and engage with you on the review process.

Are you lacking Sales Infrastructure?
We hear all too often that companies have a great product but have a poor track record selling it into the market. It may be that you don't yet have a sales team or it may be you feel your internal team aren't performing to the standard you expect. Whatever the issues we will look at this with you and build a plan which ties in with the business plan and projected sales growth.

Are you generating business from your existing customers or from new ones, or both?
Marketing is a fundamental and complex part of a company’s efforts to raise public awareness of their products and services. Loosely defined, marketing can be described as the messages and media that you deploy to communicate with your target market. Marketing communication includes advertising, direct marketing, branding, packaging, your online presence, printed materials, PR activities, sales presentations, sponsorships, trade show appearances and more.

We work with you to identify the benefits of your product or service and suggest the best and most cost effective way of reaching out to new customers and keep in touch with existing customers. The key to successful communication is a well-run Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which will track and report all activity on a customer or prospect.

Even in these days of Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, which we will explore with you as options, there may still room for more traditional marketing methods such as, leaflets and brochures and exhibitions.

We will look at every option and report our findings to you.

Staff are key to success. Continual development will make them more productive.
To allow a business to grow we believe that empowering staff with coaching and training is key. Sometimes that interaction is best coming from an outside source not just for the staff’s benefits, but for the employer’s too.

Our two areas of focus are:
- Coaching including executive coaching, business growth programmes, executive leadership development and management consultancy.
- Training which includes needs analysis, programme development and training delivery.

Training and development programmes are available covering:
- Sales and Selling Seminars
- Marketing Seminars
- Customer Service (contact centres) Seminars
- Organisational Team Seminars

We put together a plan for providing your staff with the tools to help make your business successful.
