Right on my doorstep. I love this place!!! So much to explore and beautifully cared for
Staff are very helpfull, lovely park with the opportunity to go biking, walking and has lots of fun statues, hidden doors; for kids.
Great place for a walk, children love the freedom of this place. Downside, people (especially the lady with two beautiful white golden retrievers) doesn’t pick up dog poo just kicks it in the hedge. Children pick up leaves, sticks, fall over and hence there is rather a nasty disease they can get especially if hands end up in mouths. Please bear this in mind pick your poo up there are dog bins. Great place to explore with a lovely coffee shop at the end
It's a nice open space good for families & for dog walking
Lovely place. Beautiful in all seasons. Great for kids and dogs. However has the largest number of irresponsible and rude dog owners I have ever come across in a popular dog walking spot. IF the wardens can sort that out, which I believe they are working on, then yup it's fab. More...
Loved visiting Rushmere, love the fairy doors & the giant chair. My girls loved seeing the wild things door as we loved watching that programme. Parking is reasonably priced too x
Great day out, fun for adults as well as the kids and as a bonus it wears the kiddies out
Love this beautiful forest & Park. Great for exploring and nice lunch with great view.
Great for children all the fairy doors and a lovely walk with dogs x x
Great for walks and wildlife. Children will love it too so many things for them to find.
. 5 Stars
Lovely place for day out with the family
Steve J Blaydon
fantastic walks, entertaining figures throughout the woods, peace and quiet
Beautiful place, always made me smile, I used to search for adders when I went up there
Large areas to explore with lots of hidden things to find., great trails and a visitor centre with views of a heronry.
Such a lovely quiet place, away from the stresses of life. Also, plenty of parking space, and excellent dog-walking area and somewhere at the end of your walk to have a coffee and something to eat before driving home.

had a fab visit today with beautiful walks and Heron watching thanks to the lovely ranger who talked to the children when we were looking at the camera view. ..inspired them to make these chocolate nests complete with heron eggs great day out More...
it's a lovely day out and you can walk the dogs
lovely place to let off steam, great walks, lots to do for children of all ages and at the moment there's Herons watching.
Thankyou Rushmere, my daughter absolutely loved the Woodland fairy event today. It was so well organised from start to finish and the team were really great with all the kids! She’s thrilled with her crafts too, really special afternoon. Merry Christmas! More...

Fantastic walks and the best bacon and egg baguettes at the Stockgrove end I love it and my dogs go crazy when they get about a mile away.
Great day at the Food festival, wonderful October sunshine. Enjoyable music & had a great family catch-up. Loved the food offerings especially Chicken George. Worth every penny of the £3 Parking charge. More...

Great place to visit with the horses - good space for turning a trailer round and the little fenced area and water trough are much appreciated! The trails around the forest were beautiful, we'll definitely be back for another visit More...
we loved it and will definitely be back again, perfect family day out
On Tuesday I visited Rushmere Country Park with the Socialeyez Club and enjoyed the whole experience!e
Best place to walk dogs and have a relaxing picnic
Lovely park in convenient location (edge of Leighton Buzzard). £3 to park all day, lots of space, convenient parking, toilets, cafe and play area. We will return!
Fantastic place my favorite place so much to do & see you can just can do lost in it all
We walk there almost every day with our dog. Loads of different trails to take so we never get bored. Just lovely to enjoy nature and the changing seasons in a beautiful, well kept location.
Really friendly park with a lovely cafe. I mainly ride, but it great for walks too. Fun for all ages
My doggie and I visit the park almost every Sunday and we love it. The foot-paths are great and clearly signed. I love that there are big woodland areas where dogs can go off the lead and we found that most of the dog owners are responsible ones :) some of the trees have been chopped now guess it's a regular maintenance. Would be lovely if you could use some of those logs to maybe build few jumping logs here and there for the doggies :) just an idea really :) More...
we come several times a year with our family or grandsons little dog.Enjoyed this years summer's event of stalls ,food and things for children to do.Look forward to coming next year :)
I love this place
Great park but the cafe/restaurant is desperate!! Takes 20 minutes to get served and there's stupid rules about not being able to order takeaway coffee from the "restaurant". Shame as I've seen 3 people walk away who were trying to spend money. Been a few times and the cafe/facilities are always a shambles!!! More...
lovely place..and that smell of the forest
Excellent walks , cafe a bit pricey ,take your own picnic but great for a family day out.
Great day out. Take your own food and it's brilliant to explore.
What a lovely find. Attending with friends with 8 children in total ages between 8-4 yrs. The children ran from fairy door to sculpture & what with tree climbing, muddy puddles & exploring the wood they didn't even know how far their little legs took them. Fab day and deffinately would return. More...
Lovely walk, well maintained, seriously lots of trees!
Went for the first time yesterday (sat 2nd) didn't have a good start as we were getting our things out the car 2 ladies walked by us and between them had 5 dogs 3 of which were not on a leash our dog was on a leash and got very agitated and difficult to calm especially as one dog tried getting in our car but must admit after the unfortunate episode we had a most enjoyable couple of hrs
Lovely place for young kids and big kids! Lots to see and great area for kids to play and parents to enjoy their coffee. Just make sure you take cash £3 for parking. More...
Nice day out with grandchildren who loved the slide only danger there were unsupervised young children causing a few problems. Enjoyed the woods will probably come back with bikes. More...
Moved to Leighton in December and found this place in May - I love it. Really one of my favourite places. Great facilities and stunning scenery
Great park for a picnic, nice area of shade on a sunny day and very dog friendly. Only down side ALL the toilets were closed. !! Parking £3 for the day - Great value. Discovered the park last year and have been several times since in different seasons. My friends and I had not known about the park and we only live in Caddington! Could do with better marketing to get the Park known so others can enjoy but on the plus side it was not overcrowded even on bank holiday Monday. Also get toilets open and maintained as people will leave if no facilities available . More...
First time visiting. Lovely day out. Four year old son loved the fairy door nature trail.
First visit to the park and was pleasantly surprised - lots of good walks that you could make as long or short as you want.
Beautiful views, lovely walk for the kids,.just wish some sections were dog free...
1st visit here with my family, it was such a nice place, going to visit more often. The toilets were quite untidy & smelt when we nipped in, apart from that no complaints.
Lovely day out, only managed to explore part of the park so shall return another day to explore some more
What a fabulous place!!!!!!! Went today with my nieces and they absolutely loved it (so did me and my mum!!!) lovely quiet woods to walk around and explore and the fairy 'village' was brilliant! !!! The view over the heronery was spectacular and so relaxing after a nice long walk. The dog also enjoyed exploring and being free to be off lead for most of it was an added bonus. We will definitely be back!!!!!!! More...
We had an amazing day with the kids who loved hunting for fairies. The only negative of the day was the wasps were unbearable. Some public spaces have wasp traps to deter them. More...
An absolute gem . Great for all year round and I'm definitely going to be there a lot. So many paths to explore. My coffee was lovey and it was even better drinking it over that gorgeous and peaceful balcony view. Paying £3(current price) only for the parking it totally worth it for what you get. More...
Fantastic park, attended the Explorer Challenge, good for kids of all ages. Big grass area and picnic tables, lots of interesting woodland to explore, any time of the year. Play park for younger and older children. £3 parking charge, for all day. More...
Lovely afternoon out with the kids. The park is beautiful. I was however let down with the cafe. It was very expensive for what was being provided, £2. 40 for an ice lolly and 50p for a miniature banana. Service wasn't great either, my friend had her cookie handed to her with a thumb on it! Would return again but would not revisit the cafe More...
I took my 4 grandchildren there yesterday for the 1st time they loved it cafe was a let down and so was the refreshment stall not much choice for Yong children
Wonderful place to walk around! We loved knocking on fairy doors, climbing trees and going on an adventure. We only skimmed the first wooded area but really enjoyed it! And a bargain at £3 a car! Defiantly take a picnic with you even tho there is a cafe but it gets really busy and like any country park it can be pricey. More...
Lovely place to take the kids beautiful surroundings
Fabulous day out, great for the dogs, kids and big kids
Fantastic place for the children to explore, great amenities and we spent hours there!!! Very good place for a pic nic and dog walking.
Absolutely lovely, great place to feel close to nature, for the kids to learn and for a great family day out. Options in cafe are good but staff let the place down very lazy and unprofessional
The park is so beautiful, so well looked after. A piece of heaven. I love it here it's so calming. The Cafe spoils it! It's horrendous. Was looking forward to a deluxe hot chocolate, it was made with half water, no cream. Someone needs to sort them out the food is ridiculous. More...
Meet up with friends for a dog walk, lovely place and very dog friendly... (just found other members of the public not so dog friendly). Would still highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone though More...
Great place a lots to do and see. Close to milton keynes and you can do a picnic or bbq or just go and enjoy a lovely place.

Beautiful park, quiet peaceful and serene, loved seeing the carved wooden seats especially the giant chair. Had lunch in the cafe and that was very good, sat overlooking the heron lake while eating, very pleasant. I will definitely be returning there for another lovely day out More...
A beautiful piece of England, which can be walked at your leisure. Amazingly it is dog friendly, and very clean. In the four or five hours we were there, I believe we only covered half of the park and as a bonus The cafe looks down on a stunning valley.
I took my 2yo to Rushmere for the 1st time yesterday & we loved it. The cafe is great. We had delicious cake on the deck looking out at a beautiful view and later on a tasty baguette to take away which was stuffed full of filling. The cafe lady was very friendly and helpful. The park itself was lovely - fairy doors, giant chairs, wood carvings... so much to keep kids entertained. My daughter loved the little play park at the cafe and it was fully enclosed which meant I could relax knowing she was safe. Only £3 to park all day - bargain! Will definitely visit again! More...
Been here a few times with my kids they love it there's so many different ways around the lake is stunning and all the pathways are well kept the sculptures are awesome and to be honest £3 parking all day is pretty good
Fantastic well kept Park, which is ever changing
It's beautiful there and so relaxing. My family and I love it there and it's now one of our favourite places to take a picnic and spend the day . X
Super place for a family day
Great place to walk the dog and explore the forest - we love it, especially when they hold events, this weekend we really enjoyed the knitted animals!
First visit to the park yesterday after being recommended to go....... great place for all the family my 3 year old daughter found it one big fun adventure especially once she found the fairy doors. Great fun searching for them really made her day. Little pit stop at the cafe where we had ice cream and delicious chocolate brownie. Will Definitely be back as there is so much mire to do just didn't have the time. More...
Lovely day at Rushmere Country Park, lovely surroundings, the kids loved the playground and enjoyed following the knitted woollen trail, will definitely be going again.
I think Rushmere is a beautiful, my friend and I walk there frequently. I was there yesterday with my daughter and grandchildren. We had great fun finding the knitted animals, followed by drinks and cake at the cafe. More...
Rushmere park was very good we went there yesterday had a fab time. Would not but anything there as to expensive your better off taking everything for a pinic. A cup of tea is £1.20. Got lost a couple of times but all fun find little things hanging on the trees for the kids to find very enjoyable kids loved it, and from the 1st June exit car park fee has gone up to £3 now still a cheap day out thou. . very peacefull during the week. Had a bacon roll at the café at stockgrove very nice
I have been visiting Rushmere/Stockgrove Park almost weekly for nearly 40 years now with many happy memories - with various dogs and family members also loving every minute of it. I also like the peace at dawn or dusk, the iced over lake in winter, or the picnickers in summer sun. I have asked my wife to scatter my ashes there when i die, what greater compliment can i give than that. More...
Lovely park to visit with my 2 young children! They loved it!
First visit- start of many! Fabulous with kids! Go
We love it here great for a family walk
Greta as always.... will be even better when the new Cafe is up and running ;-)
We enjoyed a walk in the country park with quirky wooden carvings... the lake etc., relaxing and beautiful!
The park is amazing will definitely come back, however the kitchen does run out of food and the choice will be limited. Only bit they need to improve otherwise the rest is Excellent
Brilliant place for families and dog walkers-lots of dog waste bins everywhere! Parkin is £2 for the whole day-pay on exit so make sure u have the change! Everytime you go, you'll notice something different... More...
Great place for a family walk..............................
We went for the Easter bunny hunt last weekend. The park is lovely and the bunny hunt was fab...the kids had lots of fun My criticism would be how expensive it is to buy food and drink on a site! £11 for two burgers and a hot dog plus £2.75 for two small cartons of juice!! We will definitely be bringing our own food next time! More...
Wonderful Easter back holiday walk with the family and dog! Built a den and my 7 year old daughter loves the fairy doors!! great place!!
Very good for a walk with or without kids. Lots to see
Lovely place to go for a walk with kids and dogs. Always changing and very well looked after. Herons are worth seeing while they are nesting and binoculars are available to see them. The cafe is expensive and doesn't offer anything remotely healthy just cakes, crisps, ice creams and extoriantely expensive sandwiches that you have to wait ages to order at busy times. There is a an resident ice cream van at stockgrove so worth the walk with little ones. More...
Great walk and some fantastic additions to the trees, read the inscription on the bench and look for the doors, great bit of fun for the little ones and a HUGE chair to sit on altogether a nice day out
Great place to get out in fresh air, great fun for kids, excellent walks, great for picnics. This is 2nd time i have bèen with grandchildren fantastic place for children to appreciate nature
Bloody love it here and Hayleigh does a great job!
Lovely day out with the family especially for the children
Aneta N. Speirs
Beautiful park with lots of impressions. Will definitely return.
It's a fab park completely let down by the cafe and it's staff... today we were told they had no kitchen. We were able to get bacon baps, hot dogs a jacket potato with beans or cheese burgers (provided you have won the lottery to pay for said items). However as my child won't eat any of them she basically had to have a cookie and a packet of crisps for her lunch., thankfully my family had a few spare snacks. If you can provide junk food like that with 'no kitchen' then I'm sure you could provide a load of ham or cheese sandwiches considering it's Easter holidays and your main occupancy is children. My step brother went to use his bank card and the lady behind the till said that his card was declined because he had no funds in his account- how the hell does she know And actually it must of been the card reader that was faulty as he checked and had sufficient funds, and had used his card previously with no problem. I find the staff extremely rude, which is a shame. I appreciate it was busy today however that's not really an excuse to argue about table numbers and wether we needed one or not because we wanted to take our food away. Other than that we had a lovely lovely day at the park advice to people.. take your own lunch! More...
Always have a lovely afternoon whenever we visit.
We visited Rushmere yesterday it was such a nice walk!.. The kids loved all the fairy doors and interesting things to find, they must have played on the huge slide continuously for an hour! .. The only down side was the cafe on the StockGrove side that we had lunch at. The sandwiches were awful, food was very poor quality and very overpriced!!. Service did not come with a smile will pack a picnic next time x More...
Excellent place! Visited yesterday for the first time , meeting up with my son, daughter, grandson, 3 granddaughters , sister and niece! !! A big family gathering , a longish walk & a picnic in the sun!! Good time had by all! Age range 4 yrs - 79 yrs!!!!! Will definately visit again!!!! More...
Totally awesome place to bring children and your dog, so much fun
I went with friends & their children yesterday for a picnic & they really enjoyed themselves. Loved the fairy doors & tree climbing. .. the big slide was a big hit too! Will deffinately go again More...
Never been here before so I didn't know what too expect but we had a great visit. Our children (6,5 & 2 year olds) absolutely loved it. Also, a big thank you must go to the staff at the tree top cafe as they were brilliant with our kids and very knowledgeable about the herons and other wildlife my kids had seen. Overall a great place to take the family. More...
It's great having Rushmere on our doorstep. Somewhere to get the kids out and off the PlayStation for a few hours.
The best place! Beautifull forest!Relax
It's beautiful there and well kept. Not tried the cafe.
First time at Rushmere as I'm from the north visiting grandchildren, loved visiting the fairy's in the woods and it was easy access for a pushchair. Would love to come back and do the walks More...
First time visit and completely enchanted. Day out with our dog Mops. We loved the sculptures especially the Fairy King and the new area for school trips. Great day out for everyone.
Brilliant place. Love it!!!
had a great day walking around then a coffee and cake at the café watched the nesting herons through the live link brilliant and very informative leaflets thanks
Worth going fantastic views and a pleasant walk

Had a lovely time with friends enjoying the sunshine and the fabulous park. Place is well maintained and the walks are lovely. Even though we didn't get to sample the café (closed for renovations) the kiosk was open and we were looked after. Definitely a place to visit time and time again to discover all the wonders. Kudos to Greensandtrust for looking after such a lovely public space More...
We have only recently started visiting Rushmere with our 2 cockapoos and although we haven't discovered the half of it yet, we love it to the extent that hubby bought a car park pass on the 2nd visit and we think the coffee is ace - peppery and lovely. Great walking up and downhill and apart from one of our lovely dogs wanting to say hello to every dog he meets at the top of his voice it is great to see families with young children and dog walkers mixing together with cyclists having their own trails (not that I have anything against cyclists but it is easier to allow the dogs off leads). One of my pet hates when visiting National Trust places is that there are very few poo bins but this is not the case at Rushmere meaning you can dispose of the bags easily which is a positive. Great place!! More...

Had a fab time exploring all the paths available through the extensive woodland with my two hounds yesterday. Was thrilled to stumble across the fully enclosed Dog Play Area. As the park was quiet my two could have a quick off lead 'blast' in complete safety which is such a luxury. Why can't other parks provide this sort of thing? Your park is beautifully maintained and clean and being able to purchase something to eat when on your own with two dogs in 'tow' is a massive bonus. (Stockgrove entrance) This isn't the case at a lot of other places. The £2 parking charge is real value for money. Thank you! More...
Great place to relax and be close to nature
Beautiful park loads of grounds to wonder round lovely picturesque lake. My only issue is dog poo bins I wish there were more dotted around I had to carry it nearly the while way around with us yesterday , other then that we love it here
Great day out. Boys loved exploring the wood. The weather was on our side so enjoyed a picnic in the sunshine which isn't bad for Feb. Being in MK it's so close and well worth the short trip. More...
Visited this amazing place for the first time yesterday and was stunned by its beauty. The children loved it too and we all can't wait to visit again.
I love coming here for walks with my family.. i haven't as yet eaten at the cafe, but reading other reviews it seems i am not missing anything :/ . . hoping this is something that will be improved in the future. That said, we did buy some bottles of drink from the smaller cafe at the other end that cost £1.50 each.. will prob bring our own next time. This does not take away from the fact that this park is lovely and right on my doorstep ( i live in Dunstable ).. have lived in Beds most of my life and was not even aware that this place was here!! Have only been here in winter, so looking forward to coming here in the spring and summer. More...
Fabulous place to walk with kids and dogs plenty to look at on the way around !! Lots of muddy puddles for the kids to jump in too Only let down was the slide all the kids were getting stuck and didn't find it fun, also the cafe was very overpriced ! X
Lovely place. My 5 year old son loves walking around looking for a hidden fairy doors. Every time we go there we are looking for a new things (benches, fairy door etc). The cafeteria big disappointed. Now we are always have our small picnic with us. More...

Me and the family love rushmere we try and go there 3/4 times a month !
Absolutely brilliant for dogs and grandchildren
Lived in LB for 13 years and yesterday was my first visit! Loved the walks and sculptures and great to have a safe and secure car park (£2 car park charge when exiting or annual pass for around £35). Agree with other comments that the cafe lets down the experience. At 3.30pm (usual time for tea and cake) hardly any cake left (those bits that were left looked dried out) and despite three young servers behind counter the drinks took ages to prepare and a long queue waiting. (Take order, take money, get people to wait to one side, or at a table... and take more orders is my tip.) Was also disappointed no dog treats left as thought that was a lovely touch. Just needs an experienced supervisor to oversee. We are looking forward to decking area being open on our next visit so we can sit down with our dog after a walk and enjoy our drinks. More...
I used to wander around the Rushmere woods even before it became the park and Stockgrove was the only official country park. Loved it then, like what the Greensand Trust have done for the area and the vision that has improved the access to Rushmere in the way it has. Stockgrove has a log cabin cafe at its car park which is family run and good. Just a suggestion to those that have a poor experience of the Rushmere catering, extend your walk out beyond the Stockgrove lake and have your tea/coffee/cake/bacon butty there. More...
We just love this place! The walks are gorgeous and there's very little mud, even at this time of year. Stunning scenery and beautiful lake. It's one of our favourite places to take our dogs. The volunteers in the visitors centre are friendly and helpful but the cafe lets the place down. I had a piece of cake yesterday that must have been there for quite sometime, and it was such a small piece too. It's a shame that the cafe is so poor because it spoils the overall experience. Never knew such a gorgeous place was so close.. only had hour and half there... next time will be much longer.. fantastic for dogs.. kids and big kids
Me, my partner and our daughter come here often. It's such a fantastic place to explore, lovely cafe and Childs play area. The woods are beautiful with stunning views. More...
Lovely place to take the children, exploring, we had lovely day with a picnic. The ribbon to make a wish was a lovely touch.
A beautiful place to explore, the woods are stunning with lovely sculptures placed throughout. Visitors Centre also very nice and wonderful play area. Unfortunately the cafe was very disappointing and overpriced. Two chocolate elairs, a cappuccino and cup of tea = £10!!!! They are just exploiting people simply because there is no alternative. The cakes were dry and stale, clearly a few days old and at £2.60 each completely unacceptable. Staff were young, abrupt and lacked enthusiasm. Restaurant was dirty, tables not cleaned and just looked a right state. Menus dirty and sticky - it was honestly vile! Such a great shame as a reasonably priced cafe with good food would really thrive here and draw in a large amount of visitors. I will never return to the cafe and will find a pub nearby in future. More...
The park is lovely. Very well looked after and a fab place to take the children in a world that's getting so expensive! I would have given it 5 star but the cafe becomes a bit hectic!
Stunningly beautiful place. We went there in the Christmas school holidays with friends and six children aged between 4 and 8. We had a lovely walk. ☀️❄️ ♀️ The café was nice with a wonderful view from the veranda. There didn't seem many places to eat if you bring your own food though. More...
Our friends took us to this amazing place yesterday .We were with our kids .They had so much fun !They loved the wooden chair and fairy doors on the trees . The location is stunning !The view from the cafe is amazing ! Definitely Rushmere Coutry park is one of my favourite places in Bedfordshire ! More...
Rushmere is just the most wonderful place. It's big enough to feel safe even if your a little lost, the kids love the fairy doors and the sculptures. Best place ever
Love rushmere beautiful place whatever the weather xx
Good walk with my pal and the dogs, lovely to see the ducks enjoying a splash around, squirrels having a great time teasing my dog as he's on the lead, some great autumn colours, nice cuppa before we headed off as rain stopped play.
Been visiting nearly all my life and it just keeps getting better.
great place to walk the dog and kids enjoyed all the wooden sits in the woods. didn't bother with the cafe as was very busy got ice cream which was lovely but expensive
Lovely walks, great food and feels like your on holiday x
Couldn't find anywhere to buy a drink as I was on my own with a dog!! Not aloud in the cafe with pooch! Unless I missed something !
Feel very lucky to have such a beautiful park on our doorstep. We loved it as a couple, we now love it even more as parents. Our toddler enjoys the sculptures and there's so much to see - lovely pathways that you can take a buggy on too. It will always have a special place in our hearts as our daughter saw her first snowfall there and we had a magical day. More...
Daughter loves it...Husband loves it...Dog loves it and so do I! Well worth the 2 quid parking fee but would like to suggest a change machine on site as you need coins. Beautiful scenery and so peaceful More...
We have visited Rushmere Park on a couple of occasions now both with our grandchildren n with our dog. It suits both situations equally as well n we always seem to find new areas to walk to. We absolutely love sitting outside on the decking looking out on the tree tree tops n earlier this year we were delighted to witness the heron nesting activity. The staff in the cafe provide an excellent service along with a good choice on the menus. As a family we would love to see more fairy houses around the woods n some with little fairy lights on would be even more special n we would visit more often. Knowing about Events there would be good too. More...
I have been coming to Rushmere for the past 40 years. It was only just Stockgove back then before they opened up to the park it is today. The location is just stunning and plenty to do there. Never thought back in the 80's I'll be bringing my kids to the same woods. I'm loving the latest additions to the park, the wooden chair, spider and fairy doors on the trees. We now visit once a week to give our dog a much needed long walk and meet other friendly dog walkers and their pets. Only today we saw the set of the 3rd season of Sky's Wild Things which is fun watching Rushmere on the TV! More...

My favourite place in Bedfordshire ! I may be a bit biased as live opposite the park , but beautiful place . Relaxing walks , lovely people and food great X oh and the best view ever from the cafe !
Absolutely love this place, some parts are just like the Alps others just like the Himalayas with areas resembling the Black Forest and pieces of Tuscany :)
Really enjoyed my first visit exploring the pine forest walks. Good facilities with a lovely cafe but also picnic areas and plenty of benches around. Interesting carvings and a very large chair to find. Good for couples, families and dog walkers. More...
It was a fab afternoon, loved the live music, trio band were fab. Thanks to the organisers for such a super afternoon.
Loved the event yesterday. Natasha Seale and her trio were a great bonus, truly lovely live music which fitted with a lovely summery relaxing Sunday :)
Love this place, beautiful scenery, amazing walks. Sunday's event was fab, the weather was stunning, great to see so many families enjoying themselves, lots of cute doggies and brilliant chilling with a cider listening to some top class live music from the Natasha Seale Trio. Perfect.
Great afternoon at the fun day. Our 3 dogs had a long run and play with other dogs. Other dog walkers very friendly. Will definately go back again
Can't believe I'd never heard of this place before....and it seems not many others have too! I did have some foreboding arriving on a hot weekend in the middle of the summer school holidays that the place would be rammed, but it was delightfully free of crowds. Indeed, for much of the long walk around the park, we didn't see anybody else. There's woods, heaths, scrubland, grassland, meadows...take your picnic pick (take a rug!). There's a wonderful assortment of trees and wildlife (stumbled across a nest of lizards). There were a lot of lovely wooden structures to climb upon (including the odd very climbable tree!) and So much to see....our three year old was fascinated, despite spending nearly five hours walking and picnicking. Oh...and did I mention? Only £2 to stay all day. Will definitely be coming back again. And again. More...
Been for our 1st visit today and we loved it , lovely cravings for kiddies to find , however could have put more way points on map as we didn't think it seemed to clear when there's so much to explore .Will definitely be visiting again
