Tim visited at short notice to sort out two chimneys at our cottage in Cheriton Bishop. He attended on time and did a fantastic job, much cheaper than other sweeps locally and he have good advice. Certainly would recommend.

I phoned last week as I'm moving into a new house that needs TLC in Sandford. I explained that we had an old ingelnook, rayburn pipe and woodburner and that they needed sorting out. Not sure at all, Tim came over and sorted the lot out and explained loads of useful stuff about proper maintenance and looking after the appliances. Good advice. The price for this was £100 for two hours work and that's great value for money I think. Not a spot or speck of dust after he left so uber clean as well. More...

Needed two chimneys sweeping at short notice and Green Sweep attended within two days. Proper job done at a very reasonable price of £80 plus advice given on cowls to be fitted and installation of carbon monoxide detectors. Trying to get hold of a sweep at this time of year is a nightmare and it's honest to say that Green Sweep was the fourth I'd rung. To cut a long story short he came out the next day and did several chimneys and mended various things like fire bricks and door seal. Very impressed and didn't charge the earth and was considerably less than two other quotes I got. Asked lots of questions and got lots of answers as I've just moved in to this house and had had central heating before not open fires and log burners. He even showed me how to lay a fire properly and what checks to make plus advice on trying to reduce emissions which is good for the environment. More...

I'd been ringing round the various chimney sweeps listed and had been given all sorts of excuses and reasons as to why they couldn't help me. Anyway, I got hold of Tim and he was able to visit within two days and outside his area. I had an issue with my baffle plate, which he sorted, and needed fire cement around the flue pipe. The rope was replaced on my wood burner and all at reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Tim. If you want a sweep give him a ring! More...

Yes, really good. Tim turned up on time. He is very friendly and explains what he's doing step by step. He put down plenty of covers to ensure no soot escaped from the chimney and he fully cleaned the hearth and fire area too. He does a great job and is certainly worth recommending.
