These carers are truely wonderful. I love 100 miles away from my parents , but know that a professional who really cares for them, is there every morning. The one hour visits mean Dad isn't rushed, and they have time to tidy up and do any other little jobs. It’s lovely, when I’m visiting, to hear my Dad laughing and chatting upstairs as they get him up. Although they are there for my Dad, they always check how Mum is, and make sure everything is ok. They responded very quickly when we recently had to change his hours. Really recommend these for care in the home. More...

We are immensely grateful we all are for the care my uncle Henry received from the Great Care Company. For over two years not a single day passed without a visit and we never had to worry about whether someone would turn up. All the staff have been exceptionally caring and professional doing everything they possibly could to assist. They have provided the highest possible standard of care which enabled Henry to stay in the comfort of his own home until the last month of his life - so much longer than would otherwise have been the case. We could not have asked for anything more, all of which very much exceeded our expectations. The staff and their patience are a credit to the organisation and we would thoroughly recommend the Great Care Company. We are so pleased they are continuing to care for his brother who remains in the family home. More...

The majority of the carers are now treated as family friends – they are thoughtful and helpful with nothing seemingly too much trouble. Mum looks forward to their visits as it not only provides the necessary care and support but also provides someone who is genuinely interested in having a conversation. When unfortunate events have happened the carers have organised someone to stay with Mum while emergency services sort out transfers to hospital, and even offer to meet her on her return (last time this was 2:30 in the morning!). We have unfortunately had to take the decision for her to move into a care home now due to rapid deterioration of her condition but the service they provided up until this point has been second to none. She received daily visits from her regular carers and we feel this really enhanced the time she was able to spend living in her own home.
