I was impressed by Nathan and his two teams when I inspected the Grange and Chef De La Maison. Everyone was dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly. My booking and all my concerns as the day grew nearer were handled professionally and calmly by Nathan. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and all the irksome legal requirements for food preparation and handling were expertly and efficiently dealt with. The rooms were set up exactly as requested and we had two happy friendly girls serving at the bar, clearing tables and generally making sure everything was as we wanted all night. They even cleared and cleaned the rooms after the party ended. The hire included the bar, function room and clean, well maintained toilets with disabled and nappy changing facilities. The Grange function room was perfect for our family party with 50 adults and 8 young children but it could take many more. Comfy seats, plenty of space and table layouts that can be varied to make it cosy, adjustable lighting levels and a great sound system that took our own play lists through our laptop. A welcoming well stocked bar with soft seating has a surprisingly good selection of fast food for those who wanted it but I had ordered a buffet meal. (That did not stop the kids, and some adults, sneaking bowls of hot tasty crispy chips throughout the evening) The children’s buffet meal was served early and like the main buffet was superb. An amazing choice of sandwiches, rolls, wraps, tiny savoury tarts, chicken bites, crudités and dips. The trays were all separated into vegetable and meat categories and those with special dietary requirements had individually wrapped and named plates. Incredible platters of fresh fruit slices and trays of an amazing choice of marvellous home cooked cakes finished a brilliant, fresh and very tasty eating experience. Everyone ate their fill and there was more than enough for those who went back for seconds (and thirds). It was great value for money and a wonderful evening. We had our babies 1st and 2nd birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing,had over 90 guests and everyone was seated comfortably,The staff were really good so we deffo recommend booking The Grange for a function.

I cannot recommend nathan enough !! He was absolutely BRILLIANT at our wedding he was there all the way through helping us through our wedding function coming up with ideas and even went out of his way to collect hay bails for our festival themed wedding ! We held a charity quiz night at the Grange Clubhouse in aid of our upcoming London Marathon charity the RSBC. Nathan and his team were absolutely superb in helping us organise the event , and delivering on the night itself. Nathan was in constant contact all throughout the planning stages with suggestions and ideas. Nothing was too much for him and we can only praise the service he provided. On the night we had 18 teams of 6 in the main hall, who were all served delicious hot food by Nathan , whilst the friendly bar staff kept the drinks flowing. The facilities were perfect for what we needed. The PA system worked perfectly , and allowing our laptops to connect to the big screens made the quiz look a lot more professional , and run more efficiently. Highly recommend! Thank you Nathan! I’ve been using The Grange for 10 years as a coach at Netherton. Have to say that Nathan and his team have transformed the place into a new and exciting hub for the whole community. The menu is great, the staff are superb and the entire venue just feels great. It’s like a family friendly sports bar come cafeteria. The new take away service is a genius idea. We popped in Saturday lunch to try the food as drawn to the Grill/Smoker/BBQ aspect as no place locally that does this type of food. Was amazed by the taste, size & value of the wild boar hotdog. Hubby had the pulled pork bun which was so good he ordered a 2nd one! You could taste that it had been smoked to perfection with a subtle hint of applewood. Great service, value for money on food & drink (large glass of Oyster Bay £4 paid £8 in a pub later that day for same brand & size). Venue is very well equipped for all needs, relax watching the footy on the big screen or live matches just outside the venue, bring the family along as they have a snooker & football table inside, plenty of room inside to hold any gathering or party.
