A beautiful place to have your event. The views over the ocean are unbelievable from the event center and having two floors allows for plenty of room to adapt the space to any specific needs. We had our wedding reception in this venue and it was perfect. The staff is very accommodating and the location is as good as it gets. Being connected to the hotel allowed for easy access for guests of all ages and from all over the country to gather comfortably. I would highly recommend if you looking for a beach wedding or just enjoy a great facility looking over the ocean. More...

This is my first morning here and I woke up to a beautiful view of the beach, it's not what I expected because you do have a parking lot between you and the beach I thought I was going to be directly on the beach but I still see and I have beachfront views which are gorgeous and as you can see I have beautiful little pigeons that come visit me in the morning. The Grandview is now under new owners. It is filthy, in poor condition and the management company is terrible. I wish I could post pictures. Be sure to check out the venue before renting from them. The condition and lack of cleanliness will tell you what you need to know. More...

Last week I ate the Friday special prime rib dinner and it was fresh and good . I invited several locals to come this week . Last week the restaurant was empty. So they served last weeks special this week. The potatoes were cold , the salad was rotten, the prime rib was cold with a powdered “gravy” on top. Worst meal I’ve ever sat down to, it embarrassed me for inviting people . The “chef” didn’t even come close to apologizing . He was pissed we called him out on a horrible dangerous meal. We all just got up and left never to return . Week old meat, potatoes and salad is disgusting and dangerous. If you book here for a catering event it may cost $60-$80 per head and it’s an outdated moderately clean venue . Go to Hilton Head for that price. I wouldn’t feed my dog this trash . More...

Jeannie and I from Slender in Savannah had the pleasure of attending BNI Mixer at The Grandview at The Tybee Hotel. It was an excellent evening, because our hostess Rebecca Loher made it so. The room was warm and inviting, the bartenders were very attentive, the buffet was filled with delicious delicacies that we enjoyed, the DJ was excellent and everyone who attended had fun.
