Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the grand. Service was good and out room was lovely really big and lovely size bathroom I asked for an upgrade||And think I got one. Minor issues we checked in early when we came back to the hotel judt needed to collect our key but had to queue with new arrivals needs to be addressed. Impressions were top notch from the moment we arrived, courteous concierge service, taking my car to the secure garage (and if they were thinking anything negative about my old banger, in comparison to the Lamborghini's and Range Rover's, there was no hint of it on their faces! ). Check in was smooth and even though our room wasn't ready (we were very early), we could leave our cases while we went shopping and were offered a call to let us know when it was. When we got into our 4th floor seafront facing room, we were firstly blown away by the view and then by the size of the room. Spotlessly clean, working air con and a separate shower and bath in the sizeable bathroom. The shower pressure was first class and the heated mirrors in the bathroom were a nice touch. Our evening meal had to be a bit rushed, as we were attending a concert, but even though we couldn't linger, it would have been fabulous to do so in such surroundings. Brighton seafront is never quiet, so there was plenty going on, with people watching opportunities aplenty. After our concert, we had a drink from the bar and again found seating looking over the seafront. The hotel was very busy with Christmas parties in attendance, but there were enough staff to mean little waiting. A superb nights sleep followed, incredibly comfortable (and ENORMOUS) bed, pillows were just right and, if there was any traffic noise, it didn't disturb us at all. Breakfast was excellent - a superb selection of ALL the breakfast items you can imagine and a few more besides. On the whole, our brief trip was one we will never forget and definitely hope to repeat in the future. More...

Myself and my colleague had booked a twin room for our annual AGM. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by concierge who assisted us with parking. He took our bags up to our room and when we checked in and went upstairs we found we had been upgraded to a suite...which was wonderful. A sea view, a balcony the works....such a nice treat. We were treated like royalty throughout our visit and we are very much looking forward to our return next year. I cant tell you how many times I've recommended this hotel since our return! WOW is the best word to describe our stay. From the moment we pulled up outside the hotel the concierge team were fantastic. The luggage was taken from the boot of the car to our rooms, the car was then parked for us and when it was time to leave all the luggage was back in the boot and the car was at the front of the hotel ready to go! There is a cost of £35 for overnight parking.||The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms had lovely decor. The breakfast had a wide variety of items and is probably one of the best I’d ever had in a hotel stay!||Every member of staff that we engaged with was very polite and nothing was too much trouble.||We stayed for afternoon tea which again was faultless. Sky should be standard in more rooms given the luxurious status of the room and the experience. The room was beautiful the hotel glamorous staff helpful friendly. We utilised the disabled access but unfortunately getting into the building was difficult because the doors were locked so after manoeuvring the little lift in the blustery wind my husband had to go to the main entrance to alert staff we wanted to gain access to the hotel. 2 Amazing rooms with sea view. Huge comfortable bed and great heating system for a blustery night. Staff throughout the hotel were very welcoming and attentive. Would have liked The Grill Restaurant to include a fish main course. Have been going to the Grand at least twice a year for over ten years. Absolutely love it, The Staff are always so friendly and helpful. The food, drink and service is excellent. The room that we stayed in was exceptional and the Grand itself has its own heartbeat, the ambience fantastic. I've stayed in a lot of nice hotels but they've never called me back like the Grand.
