I've used the Gourmet Vida for a couple of events. The first was a 20 person dinner party in my home over the Holidays. They prepared EVERYTHING for a fantastic dinner of fish with pureed yuca with greens. They used really fresh ingredients and did all of the serving and cleanup for an unbeatable price. I was able to relax and enjoy my guests while still being able to have the intimacy of high-quality food in the intimacy of my home. The second was for a large reception that I was hosting. We were on a tight budget so we ordered a few things from the local Thai restaurant and Mary provided a variety of large gourmet salads with organic greens picked up that day from a local farm. She also made a variety of deserts and even accommodated an egg allergy with a brilliant egg-less chocolate torte. Their work really brought the level of quality and presentation that I was hoping to have.All of the events have been seamless and professionally handled and they always share with me their suggestions about which ingredients they can source organic and at the best prices. When we had an HR training session for our clients in September 2017, we contacted Sally and Mary to help us feed the attendees. They came up with a great menu, with food choices for all tastes and dietary considerations. The presentation was beautiful, the food delicious. When it was done, they came back and tidied up. Every one of our attendees remarked positively about the food and presentation, and I believe that several have already used The Gourmet Vida to cater events for them.The best parts - 1) cute, delicious tiny cupcakes for dessert, and 2) the very reasonable price for all that they did for us.Would we use them again? Their attention to detail in the preparation of the meals they create, the variety of healthy, locally sourced ingredients and original mouth-watering recipes are combined with a professional commitment to their clients requests that is above and beyond compare.The farm to table freshness of their cuisine is a delight to even the most discernible palate. Gourmet Vida has been a very popular choice among my friends and acquaintances over the past year and I’ve been lucky enough to attend multiple events that were catered by them. Every dish I’ve had the pleasure to taste has been crafted with fresh, healthy, sustainable ingredients and with beautiful attention to detail and presentation. The service has always been perfect and I’ve grown to really enjoy Sally and Mary!
