I went last night and the food was absolutely lovely, wasn't sure what to expect with a Indian Tapas but what we got was really rich and flavour and unique. The waiter as well was very friendly and I took him up on his order recommendations for the starters (Indian burrito) which was great. I would absolutely recommend. Attended the funky Indian for a family birthday and had the unlimited tapas menu. All of the food was fantastic, well presented and tasted amazing. the kids thoroughly enjoyed their chicken curry and it was a great way to introduce them to Indian cuisine. As well as the fabulous food the staff were excellent, so attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Authentic food which doesn't leave you with the usual bloated feeling after an Indian meal. They were great with the children and very helpful when selecting our tapas. The restaurant itself is also nice. I would highly recommend the funky Indian and will definitely be back soon. More...

Dined here tonight for our first time. I had won a £30 voucher through a Facebook competition. We had always thought about giving it a go now was the perfect chance too. We were given the tapas menu where you can order as many dishes as you like as many times as you like which was £14.95pp. There wasnt any other menu offered so assume it was in conjunction with the voucher i had won. But we were happy with this as we always order the same from indians & always want to try something new but worried incase we dont like it so this way we could try a few different things. We went to the all you can eat tapas on the Thursday night and what value for money! Serving flaverful and decent portions, great quality of meat and fish and to top it up off the service from all staff was incredible, both waiters we had we knowledgable on the menu and happy to help! Only recommendation would be to add a cider to the drinks menu but that is totally personal taste!! Well done and will definitely be back More...

Ended up here totally unexpectedly tonight but WOW what a fantastic experience! Staff attentive, restaurant clean, inviting and beautifully furnished. Such a fantastic and unique idea for Indian tapas! The selection was vast and lots of new things to try. Different style of cooking to a heavy takeaway so I didn’t feel uncomfortable afterwards. After seeing on social media there was a new restaurant in town I was itching to give it a whirl! I decided to take my mother for a girls day out so we hit the pictures and came here for food, we were greeted and without booking sat straight to a table, the young man serving was very polite and explained the menu to us, ( this is helpful when you haven't been before) exited at the menu we asked few questions as we are both very indesisive � the staff have clearly tried what they serve and could help us make a decision with very good recommendations. We orderd 3 to start, we did have a little wait but this is understandable when your food is being freshly cooked and when it is served fresh and piping hot you can tell it hasn't been sat in a pan for two days. The flavours, the spices were so distinct and we didn't have a bad word to say about any dish after our first three we again orderd 3 more each, with the help of the staff for our decision. This was more than enough food and same again nothing was undercooked or not nice. 100% perfection. I did however give a hot curry a try and it was a little to hot for me with the fresh green chillies!! But it's nice that you can give these different dishes a try. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend it to others to try. It makes a massive difference having freshly cooked food and amazing customer service. 10/10 from me and my mam.
