What an amazing 5th anniversary meal we had! If you have never been to this beautiful spot, GO! A menu that changes weekly to support local, in-season produce, every time you go is a new farm-to-table experience. This week was Octoberfest and we were treated to delicious German cuisine. we are excited to go back and try items on their ever changing menu. A very welcoming family and staff. you can see the kitchen and you get to smell the wonderful smells of food cooking. They offer cooking classes, a menu that changes every week, homemade desserts (all from scratch), there are also accomodations and some package deals. Look them up and GO!Thank you for making us feel like family tonight. We will be back!#goodfood #anniversary #datenight #ilovelocal #supportlocal #adropofwellness More...

Best B&B we’ve ever stayedMy wife and I stayed here during Hurricane Dorian and even though we lost power in the afternoon, they still took such good care of us and fed us the most amazing meals( they have propane) that we had a wonderful time! Mellissa and the family were Very accommodating and the b&b was a fun place to weather the storm. We practiced yoga in the art gallery room, read and played games in the used book store rooms and our bed was like sleeping on a cloud! They made so many calls to find out where we should go next as most areas were without power and some without water. Obviously we had had a great time would recommend them highly and hope to return someday! More...

We spent an evening and night at The Flying Apron last week and had a fabulous time! Very friendly staff welcomed us on our arrival and showed us to our room. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and lovely, After sharing drinks on the balcony with our friends on a sunny warm night, we had dinner in the restaurant. Warm and spacious restaurant and , again, friendly and helpful staff. The food and wine was superb.!! All local wines which were surprisingly very good. The portions were substantial, so it was hard to fit in a dessert, however we managed it!! We heard afterwards that 95 per cent of their produce is locally sourced which is very impressive!. We had a wonderful evening! Breakfast the following day was delightfully served by the owner, with eggs, bacon, toast , fruit and yoghurt. All in all, a truly wonderful evening and overnight stay. It is obvious that they take great effort (and pride) in sourcing local and sustainable ingredients, with a menu that changes weekly. The building itself is unique- part bookstore, part art gallery, post office, cooking school, and food mercantile. It would be a fulfilling visit even without the spiced blueberry crumble (or perfectly breaded fish and chips, or beef brisket, or...). A perfect destination for a Sunday drive or special occasion. The food is very unique and very well prepared. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I wish we lived closer because they say the menu changes weekly and I would love to experience more of their food creativity. They also sell, in frozen form to take home, many of the products available on their menu. The Vegan Burger to purchase frozen is quite expensive but having eaten it in the dining room I would have to say it is worth the money - just not a luxury I could give myself every day. They also sell a number of jams prepared on site and I now regret not having picked up a couple of them! Overall, definitely worth a try. More...
