Thank you Alison! From our first meeting in her studio, I knew Alison is the person I was looking for. We always said we won’t compromise on the flowers and although our budget was limited, she designed a good mix of flowers, plants and candlelight for us. Alison was very professional, always taking care of things and on time and making sure everything is under control which made us stress free. With such care and attention to detail, our bouquet and pin completed our look and made us very happy. As our venue has a very specific look and feel to it and is rather big, it was definitely a challenge to get the right look and Alison had the right vision for the place from day one. People are still raving over the gorgeous flowers and how special the atmosphere was and looking over the pictures reminds us of that. Well what can I say? I was absolutely blown away when I first set eyes on my wedding flowers. They were everything and more that I could possibly have wanted. We met several times prior to the wedding to discuss our requirements and Alison had some great ideas in terms of the types of flowers available at the time of our wedding in our colour schemes. Far & Beyond Funeral Service
We'd like to say a huge thank you to this lovely lady for helping both our team and our client. It was unpleasant to hear that at 16:30 the day before our clients were preparing to say goodbye to their loved one, that we received a call from our usual florist advising that they're unable to meet the demand of our order. We called many florists and as it was after 17:00 nobody answered, until we called The Flower Studio. Our order was very large and bespoke, and she arrived at the flower markets on the morning of the service at 04:00AM, to ensure that the flowers would be done for 10am. I was so delighted with my wedding flowers that I couldn't resist to be parted with them and have instead had them preserved!
Alison also decorated our tables, engraving pumpkins for us, and carving gourds to make tea light holders. There were too many little touches & ideas to describe every single one but it looked incredible.
My main reason for recommending The Flower Studio so highly is owing to Alison careful attention to what we really wanted. My flowers weren't only beautiful, they also set the autumnal theme for the entire day perfectly. Unlike some of the other suppliers we used I never felt like a conveyor belt bride. Alison was hugely patient with my changing ideas and spent lots of time with me establishing exactly what sort of "look" I wanted the flowers to have. She came up with so many amazing & imaginative suggestions, guided me when she thought my ideas might not work and made the whole process far easier than I expected it to be. I couldn't recommend The Flower Studio more highly.

What do you love most about your job?
That I get to help create memories and convey emotions for people using flowers. I often work with people at the most most important times in their lives and for me that's really special. I love how the world of flowers constantly changes through the seasons and as different varieties come and go it always exciting to design with a new variety or work with a flower I've never come across before. Flowers can be beautiful, bold, soft, subtle, deliciously scented and downright stinky. They provide a myriad of colour and lift the spirits...let me guide you through this fascinating world!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've worked as a Florist for the past 13 years in various shops across the UK and I've always aspired to running my own business. In 2012 I had a life changing transplant. My sister donated a kidney to me. It's such a precious gift that I decided it was time to take on new challenges, appreciate life and follow my dreams.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an award winning florist who takes great pride in my work. I am a member of the British Floristry Association & commited to providing a top quality service for my clients, along with top quality flowers.
My studio is based on the North side of Manchester in Whitefield, and having a studio rather than a shop allows me to travel across Manchester and the North West of England (or beyond) as needed. Having a studio also means that I buy in flowers fresh specifically for your order making sure I can supply you with the freshest and best available.
