I recently used Flower Cottage for the very first time and had a great experience. I called them last minute, day of, for a nice bouquet for my wife. The whole last-minute thing wasn't because I am a man, rather, I was looking to add a little extra something to the already planned activities and surprises for our anniversary. I gave the Cottage (I feel like we are on informal friend terms) a call and not only could they help me out on short notice, but they did a tremendous job! I gave them a budget and my wife's three favorite flowers (they had 2 of the 3 on hand) and I let them create something special. I was very happy with what I got, and as I write this review four days later the flowers are all very much alive, fragrant, and doing great! Thanks, Flower Cottage! She loved them and they are beautiful sitting on our coffee table where we can see them every day. More...

My daughter graduated the Henrico Police Academy on February 13th. I bought her a bouquet of flowers from the Flower Cottage last minute because I was just so crazy busy I forgot. Even though the girl at the front register was confused, and she told me there were no flowers for me...,scaring the life out of me, it all worked out and they handed me a beautiful bouquet. I used this flower shop to get a nice arrangement for my wife to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I told the staff how much I wanted to spend. I came back that afternoon to pick up the most beautiful flower arrangement I have ever seen. Almost a week later these flowers are still going strong and my wife cannot stop bragging about them. My son ordered a corsage for the MCJROTC Marine Corps Ball. The corsage was gorgeous! Exactly what he had ordered and hoped for. It was the perfect size for his girlfriend and came on 3 strands of pearls. I've never seen a corsage with a bracelet-like wrist band. The flowers were petite and did not overpower her wrist and arm. I have been dealing with the ladies at The Flower Cottage for over a year, ever since it was taken over by the same owner that has Lacy's Florist of Orange. Recently I needed flowers for my Mother, it was very last minute and I had no idea what I wanted. I called The Flower Cottage and the young lady I spoke with was lovely. Kaitlynn was very sweet and helped me pick out something wonderful, not only flowers, but a bracelet and a pair of handmade earrings. I was not only thrilled but more importantly my Mother was ecstatic. The flowers are still beautiful, a week later! The ladies at The Flower Cottage made me a gift I could be proud of.
