Visiting relatives in Rotherham we always stay at the Fitz and have never had a problem. For the price paid cannot fault it. Rooms are adequate clean and comfortable. Staff are always pleasant and friendly.Breakfast is good with unlimited cereals toast coffee tea and juices all for £5 95.Will be staying here again next time we are in Rotherham. More...

Was early for a meeting so popped in for a coffee. Staff welcoming and attentive. Dint be deceived by the plain exterior. The bar restaurant area is comfortable and has a cosy feel. Would recommend stopping there.

Not promising from the outside, once inside you can see money has been spent on it, nice bar area, restaurant area good, reception good. Reception staff great. My room, basic but clean not small , have been in a lot worse for twice the money. Free WiFi and although not super fast again better than many I have stayed in. Water was hot, bed comfortable. Convenient, affordable, location and plenty of space to park. Friendly staff - given a huge double room which was same price as a single. Couldn’t get room lights to stay on until l realised you needed room card! A popular wedding venue and thought functions room was going to give me a sleepless night, as l was above it, but everything stopped at midnight. Only criticism is walls are thin l could hear conversations and other things!Basic food available and nice bar, but went to The George restaurant 5 mins walk away, which was excellent and not expensive - best steak pie l’ve had in ages and a lovely brûlée. We held our wedding here, the day was absolutely perfect, the staff worked tirelessly for us and our guests. Everything ran like clockwork. The room transformation for each part of our day was amazing was like we visited 3 different rooms. The staff made sure me and my husband were well looked after nothing was too much trouble. The meal was beautiful, all our guests commented how nice the food was. The decorations were exactly what we wanted. +The location was perfect as the wedding we were attending was at the hotel . The service was really good and all the staff were helpful and friendly The breakfast was cooked to perfection. The rooms were quite basic but the beds were comfortable. -This is not a complaint at all but .. the room we stayed in was quite noisy at night and although I had packed my own shower gel etc , I think it would of been an extra special touch to have complimentary wash stuff.Read more on Booking.com More...
