We were in the area and searched for places to eat and The Firehouse came up so we thought we'd give it a go. What a splendid find it was. We went midweek and had to eat in the bar area as we hadn't booked (recommend you book whatever the day as it's very popular) though we were treated the same as if we had eaten in the restaurant. The barman was very convivial and couldn't do enough for us. I'd also recommend the OPA (oak, pear, apple) cider if it's on when you go (it is a guest cider). I had the calzone which was superb as they have their own pizza oven. Outstanding find and would make the effort to go there again when in Somerset. Stopped on mountain bike ride with two others sat in beer garden , went in ordered food and drinks staff were very friendly and efficient, food came out even though it was busy ( Friday evening ) quite quickly couldn’t fault service or food happy to go again
