Came here for a friends birthday party in the evening. We stayed the weekend. Nice venue set amongst the rural Essex countryside. Nice lunch and good value. The hotel by its nature favours Golf and Tennis, you just have to respect the members, as there are some areas excluded for the public. Good sized pool for the kids. Great establishment. The course is always playable when others aren't, the facilities are 1st class. Upgrades and maintenance is always kept up and the manager really knows what he's doing.
