Delightful room with separate lounge area. Ample food and lovely restaurant to eat. Good table service from friendly staff and a spa for extra R&R to make our weekend even more special. Recommended.

Very helpful staff , friendly comfortable atmosphere, excellent food and really efficient waiting staff. Plenty of safe on-site parking. . beds very comfortable and good en-suite with powerful easy to use shower. Room has hairdryer and iron/ironing board. The rooms are away from the road so traffic noise is not a problem. There is a lift for those who can’t manage stairs, it’s a bit slow but adequate Bus stop right beside the hotel carpark so local bus travel so easy for Bideford and Barnstaple etc More...

We have just returned from 3 nights at this hotel, we have had a very good time. The food was very good, plentiful and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and efficient and the lad that called bingo made us laugh. Beds comfy and clean. Rooms do need a freshen up but everything worked. Only complaint was the lift, useless, only appeared when it felt like it! Only 2 floors but we had to wait ages every time, i can't manage stairs cause of bad arthritis. Fantastic service, All the staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough to help. Every effort was made to acomodate me given that I was staying as unable to get home due to poor weather. We have just spent a lovely weekend at the hotel. It was a special occasion for us as we were celebrating our ruby anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Food was excellent ... considering the number of people that had to be catered for. The room was good. Yes a little tired looking in places but it was nothing to complain about. The staff were all brilliant from the reception staff, waiters, bar staff and cleaners. All were very helpful and polite. The hotel is ideally situated for going exploring the North devon coastline.
