No words can describe my gratitude to the owners and all the staff the Durban Dog Hotel for their love, care, compassion and kindness shown during Harley and Hope's recent stay.
This was my babies 3rd stay at the Hotel but this being the longest, while I was travelling abroad. I was able to travel with ease knowing that my babies were well cared for and never short of love, hugs, kisses and treats. I received on average 11 photos/video clips daily making my heart smile seeing my babies so happy with all their new found friends (both fur and human). I could see that they were genuinely happy and comfortable which in turn made me feel happy and comfortable.
I would highly recommend the Durban Dog Hotel to anyone looking for a safe haven for their fur babies while away. We have found our home away from home. My heartfelt thanks to the owners - Sonserai and Candice for this beautiful establishment; to the "face" of DDH - Anita for attending to all the admin; to the pack leaders Charmaine and Danray for showering my babies with the utmost amount of love. I understand that there are a lot of people behind the scenes to thank, but I was only fortunate enough to have met the wonderful humans stated above. To all the others, thank you, your hard work and efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Our 13 year old lab, Jasmine had just lost her brother and had never been alone. We were so excited when we found the Durban Dog Hotel, it meant that Jasmine would have loads of company while we were away. Candice, Sonseirai and their team were absolutely phenominal and took such great care of our furbaby. My kids especially loved getting the daily updates and pics to see what Jas was up to. We entrusted our Bull Terrier Kasino to the Durban Dog Hotel once a week for daycare and have never looked back!! This is an awesome place. We had our 3 x Labbies there for a short stay and am pleased to say that they were treated with love and care. They played, swam and investigated like only a Labrador can do. The updates and photos we received showed how much they loved being spoilt. From the start the Durban Dog hotel has been nothing but exceptional!! From Hannah being so efficient and accomadating with booking and updates to Candice, Sons and Gert being so welcoming to us and our pooches on arrival. They are an extremely well educated and loving group of staff/owners and I could not have felt more comfortable leaving my dogs with them! My dogs being ridge back cross rescues got all the attention they needed with amazing long pack walks, swimming and great interaction with many many new friends! Always under the watchfull eyes of staff, they just had the best time a dog could have... infact neither if them wanted to leave! Ha ha. We so so appreciate the facility of Durban Dog hotel, and have been blown away at what an amazing time our dogs had! We have already booked them in for another 2 stays in April. I cannot reccomend the Durban Dog hotel more and we cannot thank you enough! For dog owners like myself it's so great to know that I can leave my doggies at such a 5 star place and know they are in the best hands!! More...

I brought my 2 sausage dogs to stay, Michael was was only 2 months old at the time and Matilda is anxious, and discovered what a wonderful place this is! ! I have always worried about going away and who we can ask to look after our pups but after I bringing them here, I no longer worry. To be honest I'm not sure they wanted to come home with me. I booked my 5 month old spaniel pup in for a week and after arriving and dropping him off I was so relieved to see how the Durban Dog Hotel care for and love the dogs like their own. We received daily whatsapp mesages, photos and videos showing him having lots of one on one cuddle time, play time and long walks with the pack. It was wonderful to see him so happy. He seemed to love being there and we were thrilled that he was being loved and cared for as we do. There are no cages or small concrete runs like kennels, but wide open spaces to.explore and have adventures. The dogs sleep inside on the owners bed or on their own beds. They are with people 24hrs a day so they get lots of attention and love. It seemed to rain a lot while our pup was there but they managed to entertain the dogs indoors and keep him dry and clean. They have a very large fenced garden to play in and be taken for long walks, which exhausted hiim. I have now booked my 2 pups in for our next holiday.
