John was awesome! We hired him to take some aerial photos and videos for a research project at a pine bark plant (mulch, potting mixes, etc. ) I am working with for my Master's thesis at NCSU. The site was an hour and a half away, but that wasn't a problem. In addition to taking photos and videos, John also experimented with a software package that determined the volume of the piles of pine bark, and the results were amazing! Not only were we able to calculate the volume, but the software provided us with a really cool 3D image of the site. All of the photos and videos turned out great, and John even went back out to re-shoot some things without us asking. Overall the shoot was very fun, and the resulting images and videos turned out fantastic! He even made a cool video put to music from different video clips. This will add a lot to my research, and we will definitely hire John again if we need any drone work, and refer him to anyone looking!!! More...
