The Dove's Nest is located in a gift shop. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, but enjoyed browsing in the gift shop while we waited. My friend and I couldn't decide what to try so we each got something different and split it. I chose the Apricot Chicken Salad and she got the Jalapeno BLT. BOTH were excellent. I think the BLT was my favorite. We didn't save room for pie, but next time I will have to plan ahead. I'd love to try their buttermilk pie. It's a childhood favorite of mine. Honestly can say this place has some of the best sandwiches you will ever eat! I highly recommend getting a half sandwich salad combo because everything is super filling and they don't jip you of anything so you'll be very satisfied! Their coffee was very good too and there are refills, perfect for pairing with one of their amazing desserts (which are also very filling so I recommend splitting!)Our waitress Taylor was super great too, and all the staff seemed lovely. Cindy and the entire Doves made our wedding day amazing. I planned the wedding from out of state and Cindy guided me to success. From the moment I walked into the Doves Nest to the end of the night I was amazed by the attention to detail given to every aspect of the wedding from the table set up, food, professional staff, all the way to the flowers and decorations. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the beef tenderloin, with mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The meat was tender, the sides perfectly seasoned, and the food came out hot. Wow, what a find. We were driving to Dallas for the weekend and needed to stop for a good salad. The "salad" stop turned into a "salad-coffee-iced tea-ABC Spread-Blackberry Bread Pudding" stop. NO REGERTS!All the food was fabulous. We were much fuller than intended so we took the bread pudding to go and ate it about 8 hours later. It was still enormously satisfying and delicious. I bet it's even better if you eat it on a plate, warm and with vanilla ice cream as intended. Well shucks, guess I gotta go back and order it again.The salad was good too. We ate all of it. My daughter and I stopped in on our way home from an errand. What a hidden gem! The food is delightful and creative. Every was fresh and Craig, our waiter, was really cool and had entertained us with his fantastic stories! Great atmosphere too!

Stopped here after a day of antique shopping with my fiancé and friends. The whole atmosphere is extremely friendly and warm. The second you walk into the restaurant it smells absolutely amazing! All the staff was extremely friendly which is great!y fiancé got the soup of the day which was some kind of chicken and bean soup, it tasted AMAZING! It reminded me a lot of home cooking. We also got the ham and jam sandwich, the jam was mango habanero but it wasn't spicy. They also sell the jam for $6 a jar! Amazing.I got the chicken quiche, it wasn't on the menu but it was a daily special! It was so tasty, and so much food for only $10!! I highly recommend stopping in here, it really added a lot to our trip! They also have a chair that Mark Zuckerberg sat in!! That's so cool! More...

Special was a pesto pasta with chicken was delicious. All it needed was maybe some rolls or bread. The spice tea was delicious as well. Food is always, always very good. What is even better is the customer service. I really do believe no place deserves a five, because that leaves no room for improvement. With the food being so good along with the excellent customer service that this place provides in my book gets a 5+. Since it’s opening, I have eaten here several times, but on yesterday our Sunday School class had lunch here and had several members that had never eaten at the Dove’s Nest before and they were so impressed with the food.
