I had to wait quite a while to get seated. The host wan't very pleasant about it either. But once I was in, I had a good time with the food and service being of exceptional quality. Overall, would definitely go back!

So I made reservations for my friends birthday! And I am so pleased with everything. The ambience, the staff, the food and overall experience was beyond! We were greeted with smiles as we enter the clean, light and relaxing ambience. Everyone there was so friendly. Especially Luis! He was our favorite. So polite and attentive. Paid attention and was always checking in on us. Our waitress was very helpful too! I didn't get her name, but if you're reading this, thank you  (she's blonde, tall and gorgeous!) Ok let me talk about the food. That calamari took me to a place I've never been before. It was so delicious!! My tongue was twerking from excitement! Flavors complimented each other. This place is a GEM! So many gluten free options with no risk of cross contamination. It was hard to choose what to order. We ended up getting spring rolls first with shrimp and avocado. Then we had the kimchi pork fried rice, amazing! I won't forget that dish. And to finish off the meal we had Pho with thinly sliced tri tip that was SO delicious. Our server suggested a treat for wine, Silverado GEO, pure Cabernet. Our experience here was off the Charts. I can't highly recommend going here in ones lifetime enough. I stumpled upon here as we got hungry during lunch time. We waited for it to open on a Sunday.We ordered the following:1) Filet mignon pho - good tender beef2) chicken pho - clean clear chicken soup. Doesn't seem like their is any msg. 3) Benedict - good pork belly but this dish very long to come out. Then it was missing the horse radish sauce. Noticed it after eating for a while when something doesn't taste right. Told the waitress and she said chef will make the sauce and it took like another 15 minutes. Back that time, close to finishing the meal. To be honest coming from 626 area, I have had better Vietnamese food. I understand this is more classy and tailored to the 90210 market.  I can't justify the price for the food we ate.  I won't come back for that reason as there are alot more choices in SGV area. They need to improve on faster service because it did take like 20-30 minutes to get our food and pho doesn't take that long to make.Ambience is nice though.  The staff was very nice and great service. Had been trying to get here for awhile. Was not disappointed. Service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu options. The GuavaRita was yummy!There were so many things I wanted to try including the famous noodles. Waiter recommended the filet entree and would give me a side of the noodles. Perfect! The best Vietnamese food we've had in L.A.! The calamari and scallop starters are phenomenal, wonderfully spiced, as was the eggplant tofu vegan entree, which we enjoyed very much. The sizzling white fish comes with a plate of rice noodles, peanuts, and fresh mint and lettuce to combine in little cups. The sauce on the fish is also phenomenal--surprisingly sweet and savory. The food here is incredible! The chef top-notch!! The ambience perfect. Our raven-haired server Jennifer was a goddess! She made us feel like we were her friends and not just people in a restaurant. Her humor was spot on! She turned a regular evening into something to remember. She is a gem! A rare breed of human in this city of Los Angeles filled with fakes and phonies. Jennifer is the real deal! In fact everybody at the restaurant was incredibly kind from the gentleman who served us water to the gentleman who served us entrées. We will be back! From my experience-start to finish, I was delighted to find out that everything was absolutely delicious and treated us really special. Our server Luis, not only brought the excellently prepared food, but brought both laughter and a genuine attitude. He fully interacted with everyone at our table and took his time with us. We could have not been more pleased with his recommendations. He helped us navigate through the menu and we are beyond thankful. To start the night off right we ordered cocktails per Luis' suggestions "Love Me Long Time" was absolutely amazing, we also got a little fancy and tried a few of their awesome wines. As far as food goes, some of the favorites of the night were the appetizers, (chicken District Dumplings, calamari, and Poke) were a hit for our table. For the entrees I recommend the Shaken Beef, vegetarian fried rice, and the oxtail pho soup! As for dessert the lemon grass creme brûlée and bread pudding could do no wrong. I love the restaurant! Lots of vegan options and their happy hour is awesome. If you work in the area or just happen to stop by at Cedars Sinai, I highly recommend checking this place out for a great food for the price during after work hour. love the spring roll!! Love the location super beautiful restaurant located in Beverly Hills usually come in for the happy hour and sit at the bar where I always get the biggest smile from bartender Amelia exceptionally helpful and make delicious cocktails I highly recommend Amelia's take on the margarita with no salt light and easy to drink ; )I love the shrimp skewers and beef lemongrass skewers as well sauce on the side!Will be coming again! Finally getting around to writing this review. I have yet to come sit down here for a meal, but I have gotten take out a good amount of times now and can you imagine how good the food has to be for me to sit down and write a review for take out. ... I was never a "kale salad" typa girl until I tried, my girl, Han's Kale Caesar Salad and Salmon. It's so good and does not even taste like Kale tbh, and also pretty filling for a salad. I could survive until dinner with this for lunch. 10/10 am recommending. OK now lets talk about Hannah's Homemade Noodles. I see a lot of people talking about being "disappointed" because "it doesn't taste the same as the Garlic noodles from Crustacean." Duh... if you want the garlic noodles from Crustacean, go to Crustacean.... I'm honestly a fan of these noods. I've been to a couple events where they've catered the noodles and it's always the first thing I go for. Easy to eat, and something that you can always be in the mood for. I've also had the Bo Luc Lac (Shaken Beef) which I am a huge fan of and the Buddha Delight Clay Pot. At first I was meh about the clay pot but thinking back it was actually pretty good for a solid healthy meal since it's basically just veggies. We had my husband's graduation dinner here and the food was great. It was very easy to make a reservation for a large group here. A lot of us ordered the uni garlic noodles which was delicious, but the portion is a little on the smaller side. The only thing that bothered us is that the food came out sporadically, so we couldn't really eat at the same time. Some of our group would be done eating while the rest just got their food. Came here for an early dinner around 4 pm today.  It was empty- which was nice as we got to sit outside and the food came out fast. We started with some cocktails - very extensive drink menu and everything was great.  Then for our food we ordered the Calimari, the house noodles, veggie stir fry, a fried fish dish, and the kimchi fried rice.  Everything was tasty and the perfect amount for 4 people.  My favorite dishes were the calimari and fried fish - I want to go back just for these 2. Service was pretty good- since it was empty at this hour the server only had our table, and overall we had a great time.  There was also plenty of street parking since we got there early, but I can see how parking might be an issue later in evening. Happy Hour review (clap, clap, clap)!!!!! I love and appreciate that The District by Hannah An offers happy hour everyday, including weekends! !! Happy hour on SAT & SUN :-) I love happy hour because when I go out I wanna order everything...a little of this, a little of that....with happy hour you can do that. Kinda like when your at a party and their are people walking around with trays of food ;-p lol I just wanna taste it all! Came from the valley on a Saturday around 3pm to enjoy a drink and some yummy food. They have a good selection of food on their happy hour, along with house wine, a few beer, and cocktail selections. We sat outside and Jefferson was our server. He was very nice and attentive. We started with the district margarita. Then we ordered about 9 dishes off the happy hour menu....-candied walnut prawns-saigon calamari-signature noodles (with added chicken)-ahi tuna sliders -short rib sliders-district wings-tuna poke-cha gio rolls (chicken)-signature noodles (again, 2x) no protein added We enjoyed everything! All came out hot and in a timely manner :-) The noodles were so good we ordered them twice ;-) The walnut prawns are always a must for me. The cha gio (fried chicken) rolls were very good! First time trying those. The wings were hot and crispy...yummy! The calamari was lightly dusted with good seasoning. Both sliders were cute little sandwiches dressed with sauce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and daikon. The tuna poke was ok for me...not bad, but not wow! Hubby liked it more than me. Overall we had a nice afternoon! Jefferson provided very good customer service (thank you) and the food was tasty! Thank you, Hannah for offering weekend happy hour. Food was good though pricey! My group of 3 are very experienced and thoughtful diners with a mix of SE Asian and Anglo backgrounds. We have traveled much of the globe experiencing food levels from street hawkers to n star restaurants. The poached egg with braised rib was yummy and the best of what we got. The Pho was very umami, which is good, but we upgraded with oxtail and we were sad it was just 1 piece. It was tasty for plain boiled oxtail, but not seasoned with Vietnamese spices like I am used to getting at many Pho shops in Little Saigon. Their whiskey sour with egg whites was very tasty indeed. Prior to coming in, I checked the reviews on Yelp and I am so glad I did. One yelper wrote if you do a check in you get a free dessert.  Thanks Yelper.  Another tip was the parking, so hard to park in that area.  Had to valet for $9.00 + tip.  The food was amazing but very pricey.  We had the uni crab dish for 32.00, delish. Our starters were the scallop with mushrooms and Chan Goi.  Again, all wonderful and bursting with flavors.  I had a cucumber cocktail and my friend had a whiskey drink..yum.  And then our free dessert.  Ambiance is lovely, we sat on the patio.  I am taking one star off because I think the prices were a bit steep for the main dishes.  I have never done that before, but I do think it was a wee bit steep.  Could be the rent?  Who knows.  With tip came to about 100.00 a person for lunch. Four of us had dinner at District last week and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.  Server was helpful in guiding us through a complex set of menu  choices and touched base on a regular and non obtrusive basis. So I wasn't lucky enough to meet Hannah An when I was here today.  But I'm fairly certain that I sat next to a well known actress who was there celebrating her birthday. First time here was on a pre-interview dinner - had drinks and small plates. Honestly didn't remember much. Second time was for a weeknight dinner. And the food was much more memorable. Beef pho and bun bo hue were great noodle soups. The flavor of the bun bo hue was a little toned down, probably for the local audience but it was still pretty good. Could use more noodles in both. Lobster and egg noodles were also great. I think generally I prefer lobster not fried but this dish was pretty solid all aroundChilean sea bass on a bed of rice noodles. This was amazing. Perfectly cooked fish and great flavor. Parking was surprisingly easy to find on the street. Valet also available. Service was okay. You can't be disappointed with any of these orders. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and so delicious. The only nit picky thing was that the calamari wasn't exactly as crispy as I'm used to but who cares it was crispy enough. Wanna step up the meal? Start with a CBD infused drink.
