Wow, what an amazing company to work with. The Dappers DJ's came highly recommended from a friend and now I can see why. We had DJ Will for my parents surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary Party this past weekend and he did a wonderful job. We had such a variety of ages, from babies to of course elderly couples and he keep everyone happy with his play selection. The music was perfect and not too loud. I just loved the way DJ Will interacted with the group and keep everyone moving. So thank you, to both Alex and DJ Will for a wonderful experience. We hired Alex from the Dapper DJ’s for our October 2016 wedding. From our initial consultation with him, he was fun and engaging and honest. We liked his straightforward pricing options and his cool style. Alex had two DJ setups at our wedding, the main one serving the ceremony and reception, and a vintage setup for the cocktail hour. Our guest loved the vintage vibe at cocktail hour, and all evening they kept raving about the music selections. Alex was great at seeing what the crowd was into and playing a great mix of oldies and new stuff to keep people dancing. He was even able to find some special Cuban music that we wanted to play to honor the grooms culture. The Dapper Dj's go above and beyond as a DJ service. They were a perfect fit for our wedding. They provided outdoor music for our ceremony and also were the Dj's for our reception. Alex showed up early so that he could coordinate both the outdoor ceremony and the set up at the reception, which was no small feat, given that the site apparently had limited working electrical outlets, which was never brought to my attention. Alex had already sorted through the outlets and was set up before any of my guests arrived. I only found out about his adventures due to my family helping set up the wedding site. He did an outstanding job with the flow our our music from wedding procession to my own entrance as the bride. I was incredibly impressed with how smooth the transition from one song was to the other--my family thought we had rehearsed the music changes! I was also in love with his attention to detail with our wishes and keeping in touch with the feel of the crowd. When we set out to find a DJ for our wedding, we made it a point to make sure we didn't settle for your typical corny joke telling dude with a whole bunch of forced enthusiasm. After almost giving up hope, we met Alex from Dapper DJs and immediately knew he was the right choice. Not only does he bring his own brand of classical and retro class to any event, he can mix and match it with the tastes and preferences of his clients. For example at our wedding, we had a pretty wild reception with some specific song demands which he happily met. For the cocktail hour right before however, he was able to bring in some old record players and set the tone perfectly with his own style. On top of all this, he seamlessly fit in with the other vendors and requirements of our venue bringing wireless equipment and sufficient up lighting.

All in all, we could not ask for much else. Alex was responsive and open when we needed him and completely self sufficient and behind the scenes while we were in wedding mode. I highly recommend Dapper DJs for any type of event.

We were recently married on 9/16/17 and would highly recommend The Dapper DJ's. We initially met with Alex and were immediately sold on the idea of being able to make the music at our wedding unique and meaningful. We worked with Jack and cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. Besides being extremely knowledgable and professional, Jack went above and beyond to get to know us and maintain excellent communication during the planning. Day of, he was prompt and prepared, and did a wonderful job of incorporating all our requests, executing the timeline, and reading the crowd to keep the energy up during the reception. Our guests loved the music choices and overall vibe of the reception. We are so happy that we chose to work with the Dapper DJ's!

My husband and I had a great experience working with Alex with the Dapper DJs. Throughout the planning process, we had a number of calls with Alex where we discussed our vision for our event, and he was so helpful as we were putting together our playlist. The Dapper DJ style fit in perfectly in our rustic barn wedding, and Alex did a tremendous job of reading the crowd and keeping the party going. And he was extremely accommodating when this musically-minded bride wanted to grab the microphone to sing to the crowd...multiple times. I have worked doing both video and photography with The Dapper DJs on several occasions now. Without a doubt these guys provide a fun and exciting time wherever they go. What is the most impressive about their service is the ease with which they work, and the charm they bring from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Alex provided DJ services for our wedding on November 18th and we couldn't be happier with the service he provided. The music selection, flow of various speeches and events, and overall choreography was spot-on. The overwhelming feedback we received from out guests was that it was the best DJ and music selection they've ever experienced at a wedding. Couldn't be happier!

The Arc Of Frederick County hosted a dinner dance on January 11th. We had 150 participants, and everyone there had so much fun thanks to Alex. The music played kept the dance floor packed the entire time. Alex periodically made entertaining comments, asked for requests, and simply added to the”good vibe” in the room. He was great helping us put together the timeline of our wedding, quick to respond when we had questions, and even better throughout the actual event.
