Central location for me for a work trip. Lots of great food choices nearby. Hotel is a bit dated in need of a reno and the gym is as well but for the location it balanced out. If you are a sensitive sleeper may not be the best choice as the windows aren't very sound proof. Bring ear plugs! More...

The place was in ok, condition. It was a lil dated to be in the heart of the city. The staff was the most friendly and helpful because they offered great ideas for sights to see and things to do. I would definitely stay again, the establishment was so clean that I watched a kid walk face first into the glass doors!... Lol More...

Great location if you are considering a sightseeing visit to Washington DC. The hotel is located about 6 blocks north of Lafayette Square and there are several nearby Metro stations if you choose to take public transit (Farragut Station being one of the closest).
At a leisurely pace you can get from the hotel to the National Mall via train and walking in a little over 20 minutes. Plenty of restaurants located within a short walking distance.
If you drive in, consider downloading the SpotHero app to look for parking. I was able to reserve a spot in the parking lot (PMI) located directly behind the hotel for $20 for a 24 hour period, which is almost $10 cheaper than the posted rate.
