If you are looking for a place to eat in this area, absolutely go here. Although it is part of the Haliburton Forest Preserve, it is not the basic burger and fries place you might expect (and which I believe it was in the past). It has the basics, but is also a very worthwhile restaurant on its own. For example, I had a roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer that I would honestly give a 10/10. More...

Oh, this was soooooooo delicious! Homemade iced tea was PERFECT, and then FABULOUS Shrimp & Grits, and Chicken & Waffles. And whatever was in the smoker outside smelled amazing! Be back soon!

Found this amazing place by accident heading up to a cottage we rented near West Guilford. Smoker outside was cranking and it smelled like heaven. Met the Chef after he lovingly check on the pork shoulder. He checked on us as we sat outside at a picnic table with our take out. Food was WAY better than I could have ever hoped for! Delicious burger with quality bun and cooked perfectly. And then there was the poutine. Homemade gravy from scratch that was out of this world. This will definitely be our go to restaurant when I don’t feel like cooking. 10/10 More...

Family restaurant with great comfort food. I like the view over Kennisis Lake both in the summer and in the winter. My favourite breakfast dish is their yummy breakfast sandwich with bacon or peameal ham.
