I had the cook nook cater a private party. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Catherine prepared a steak dinner and honestly it was the best steak I've ever eaten and I'm a regular at Morton's and Capital One . The appetizers, sides and main event were all delicious. What’s your signature dish?
I have had the pleasure of cooking weekly meals for families, private dinners for special occasions, and hosting cooking classes for those looking to learn some techniques to make cooking easy and fun! I love to cook with and for others and would love to work with you! I make custom menus for all events, the "signature dish" is YOUR imagination!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
At first contact I would like to learn more about the event, class, or meal that you would like us to cater. Then I will work on a menu and pricing based on what I have learned about your event to make it the best food for your event!
What do you love most about your job?
I love trying new recipes and finding new flavors! I cook what inspires me that day and that's my favorite part about being a chef.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for cooking stems back generations. I grew up in the kitchen and after a turn in the corporate world, I decided that being in the kitchen was my true calling. Thus, The Cook Nook was born. I regularly take classes to learn new cooking techniques and recent health trends. I look forward to sharing that knowledge with you through my food!

Fresh Service – Meals are ready to heat and serve
Fresh to Freezer Service – One or two meals are fresh and ready to heat and serve. The rest of your meals will be frozen. All you have to do is defrost where necessary, heat and serve.
Frozen Service – All meals are frozen. Defrost as you need them, heat and serve.
Entrée Only Service – We prepare the Entrée, you prepare the sides. Fresh or Frozen
