Very solid golf course. Had some pretty holes and greens still ran good with sand coat on them. Very lucky to play this private golf course because I know a person that lives on Old Hickory and due to golf course maintenance I was given a guest reciprocal. We had our wedding here on April 7, 2018 and it could not have been more perfect. Sarah of the food and beverage sales went above and beyond to make our day the most special day ever. It started months before the wedding, with planning, coordinating, arranging. You name it, she did it, followed through and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Her and her staff was absolutely incredible at the wedding as well. They catered to all of the guests and the food was amazing. We have been "snow birds" since 2008 - it is an amazing, friendly & fun community! There is something for everyone! We love the club house - the new Grill Room is very impressive & we thoroughly enjoy sitting on the new outside veranda watching the waterfall! ! The golf course is also new & we enjoy the flexibility to be able to walk 9 holes early in the evening- great exercise & less pressure! The women's' league is a very friendly group - they accept you & make you feel ok - even if you carry a high handicap!! Location is perfect- airport is very convenient, Jet Blue Park, shopping, shopping & more shopping!! Weather is the best!! Come on over - you'll love our "Paradise"!!! More...

We are social members, but plan to expand to a golf package. My husband raves about the practice facilities and the golf course. We both enjoy the whole "Gateway" experience... great, friendly people, marvelous staff across the board, super chef. Gateway is a lifestyle that suits us. We are Canadian "snowbirds" who own a place in the Gateway community, and spend 5-6 months in season in our Florida home. Best decision we ever made! Besides the golf experience for my husband, and the very active social scene, we also enjoy playing bocce, the fitness centre, and the opportunity for watercolour classes in the clubhouse. More...

This is one of the finest golf courses in SW Florida, a championship Tom Fazio course which is very friendly. The brand new practice facility (driving range, chipping areas and putting green) are by far the best in SW Florida. And the members are also very friendly. We have made many new friends, enjoying happy hours on Wednesdays and Fridays in the club grill room.The club offers excellent tennis facilities, an exercise gym and a club pool.Gateway is a great experience and we are very happy and fortunate to have a home here.
