First off, I’m a 12-stepper. Love the rooms, imperfections and all. I’ve had the good fortune to work with Monica for several years now, and quite honestly find myself struggling to describe how much “extra” good she’s brought into my life. I keep stopping and restarting this darn review! If I lay it all out the way I really feel, I worry it’s going to sound like a fake review (or maybe I’m just hypersensitive and/or skeptical of fake reviews)... Monica and I can work on that, ha. I’ll just say that my recovery has grown in ways I hadn’t really imagined before I met her. There used to sometimes exist for me a disconnect of sorts- between the research, education and “professional opinion” of therapists (3 before meeting Monica, and decent ones) and the more personal “experience, strength and hope” I received from my beloved rooms of 12-step. As such, I think there was just some little missing something, though I wasn’t really aware of it at the time. With Monica, I get it all. Because *she* gets it all, thru both her tireless training and education as well as her own personal experience and growth. There’s nothing like the feeling of being understood, truly and deeply related to, and sent off with an abundance of actual tools to help me flourish instead of just get through. Though let me tell ya, the just-getting-through was still a much appreciated thing in some earlier, darker days. But I digress. Monica is great, it’s really as simple as that. Having received her help in both a one-on-one capacity as well as her wonderful T-12 group program, I can say she has so very much to offer and I feel incredibly grateful to have found her when I did. Even my husband and others closest to me love her “second-hand”... and when my relationships thrive and bloom, there’s really no better testament to the guidance I’ve received. Life is some good stuff. As far as I know, consultations are still free so there’s nothing to lose really and with the options of phone and Skype sessions, giving it a shot pretty much couldn’t be easier. Personally if I don’t gel with someone, I feel like I can tell by the end of a consult. If you’re on the fence about working with someone new, you might wanna give Monica a shot. Monica is a fantastic coach and certainly someone with a lot of offer anyone who is looking for healing and perspective on life's challenges. Monica has an enormous amount of life experience and offers her perspective as well as her formal education to give clients the best possible outcomes. I would recommend her group coaching as well as her private sessions as they have been a tremendous blessing in my life. More...
