Each time overly impresses me.
I really enjoy this last visit to prompt a review; the spicy Bloody Mary as well as the perfect portion of half chiliquilias was delicious!!!!!

We were fortunate enough to have a beer paired dinner on the rooftop of The Clarendon with a group of our closest friends to celebrate our marriage and I couldn't be happier with the way the event went! ! The decor & theme were on point and looked beautiful against the Arizona sunset. Each course had a matching beer chosen to compliment the meal it went with. My personal favorite was the Java Stout Float for dessert! The staff were excellent in timing the courses, as well as describing the dish a few times for the guests that were distracted. Every person that attended the dinner left saying that it was a very unique and delicious food experience they will talk about for the rest of their lives. Definitely the perfect way to start off our celebratory weekend!! A huge thank you to Nicki, Vince, Joe & the rest of the staff at Cafe Tranquilo for making it such an unforgettable experience! This is by far the best place to have your gathering at! The food is excellent and also the service was by far amazing. They were always making sure everything was good at my table.
They have a spectacular roof top view where it's nice to have a romantic dinner or a private event. The pool here is gorgeous and open to the public. What I like about going to the pool is that the waiter/ waitress bring you wine right to you! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone because they have so much to offer in one spot. You won't regret coming here so come on down and check them out and make your booking with them !

Café Tranquilo is one of my go-to spots mainly because of the people that work there; naturally, I had to have my birthday celebration there last night. Firstly, Tommy is amazing; after coming here for so long we became fast friends and I love chatting with him when I stop by. I love introducing different friends to Tommy as he always provides plenty of entertainment. Secondly, Art ran all over the restaurant for my large party and was so polite and patient throughout the entire night. He provided excellent service. Of course I have to mention Jacob who was hosting last night, another great employee who is always a pleasure talking to and so knowledgeable about the menu as he is a huge foodie! Thank you to Tommy for making sure everything ran smoothly last night and Art and Jacob for their hard work! More...

I had an amazing time at your oasis. I went to an event and by far this is the best venue in Arizona. From the rooftop and views to the way the entire building is laid out is just stunning. The staff behaved as if they had been throwing huge galas forever! Even during the busiest part of the night they took the time to find gluten-free options for me to eat. If I had my way I'd be there every night! ...home run all the way, love you all, I hope I get to stay overnight at the next function.
Part 2 WOW! I could write a book about the fantastic venue, service, staff, event, love... five stars are not enough. First, with an event that HAD to tax ANY staff to the max, they still found time to pull a miracle and get me a last minute room. When I arrived, hundreds people were there, my name wasn't on a list, this is where everything usually would unravel. People scurried off and in less than ten minutes I was in my room! Miracle number 2!
Next was the room, wow, I'm an OCD resort staff's nightmare and even I couldn't find ANYTHING wrong with the room. Even the temperature was perfect when I walked in. I felt like this was a VIP suite booked a year in advance in liue of being squeezed in an hour before. Mindy, the event coordinator must have a team of 100 amazing people working for her 24/7 because she handled the most amazing party I have ever been to like a champ. Flawless.
Miracle 3 so, it's 1 a.m. and I have not been prepared and I'm starving. I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes too late, if you know me this is my luck LOL. I'm pouting in the lobby because I am allergic to wheat and there really are no snacks that I can have and honestly I need food. When it seems like there's absolutely nothing that can be done again in the middle of the night this time people and staff appear and make magic happen. They find me the most amazing pizza delivery that actually has gluten free crust to deliver to my room. I literally did a happy dance in the lobby. I couldn't have felt more catered to and I am nobody special and I definitely didn't have any kind of reservations! No one was expecting me and these people really went out of their way for everyone. I we'll stay here every chance I get definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

My Wife and I had a great staycation at The Clarendon. Loved the renovation to the Hotel. Both the phone & TV didnt work in the room but we didnt spend much time in there anyway. The pool was nice but does need to be re-done and made bigger. (Get rid of the hot tub or just make it smaller and use the space for the pool.) Customer service is really dry. I thought it was just the server working the pool area but later in the evening we found the same dry personality from the bartender and from our waitress. Won a two night stay at a charity auction and used it this weekend. The hotel is a remodeled older hotel downtown Phoenix. It is bright and very inviting. There is a mini fridge and bar area, and all the usual amenities. One caution, it's was a bit warm despite having the air set as low as it could go...but it was 115° outside.
